    It is with a very sad and heavy heart that I have to post this morning...

    I received and email from Jenny, Valsul's daughter this morning telling me that her mum had passed peacefully this past Friday...

    I have known Val since almost the very beginning of my breast cancer journey and will miss her more than I will ever be able to write in words!!!!!

    Val-it was an honor to know you and love you....the biggest honor was to make that quilt for you so that the distance in miles between all of us didnt seem so far....

    I know you will be watching over us now, but dang it girl, I'd much rather you be here with us....I know you are at peace now and no longer in pain...I will never forget you sweet sister.....
