LIFE'S A BEACH!

Just a quick hello.
Iris: I wanted to thank you for bringing back some wonderful old memories. Im glad you liked the songs. Like I said it was a great blast from the past. Life goes on, we get busy - and I dont know, just didnt think about it being 40 years ago since graduating highschool. I even pulled out my old yearbooks.
Blue: Jim Morrison is my favorite along with Bob Dylan. Really feel like their songs have captured things in my life.
Margo: Still havent gone swimming. We had tornados, and then rained most of the time. Maybe today.
Cheryl: I cant wait to play 94.7 - I have been listening to that lite station and its made me crazy.
Bren: It was good to hear from you. Sometimes I have to look all over to find you. You have touched so many who have breast cancer. You braclets and cards mean so much to so many.
Neese: Its good to see you. I hear many of you who live in Michigan suffered through the same weather we are getting here. Tornados and severe thunderstorms.
Faith: Just loved that license plate. Hope you have a wonderful time in Aruba. Like Iris, I really love that song by the beachboys.
To all you beach regulars. I have to tell you, I come here and read all the time. You have a nice group and have lots of fun together. What a nice way to get away from all the day to day worries we have.
Hope you all have a wonderful day at the beach. Its raining here, so I will be taking a walk along the shores of Lake Michigan - tomorrow.

This is a nice group of beach regulars Nicki and it would be nice to keep it that way. After what you've done to Angel, I don't know how you can expect that you'd be welcome here.

It's a sad day.
I look forward to seeing my friends later.
Our family at the Beach means the world to each of us.
*********************
Special Note to Margaret:
Margaret, I do want to say to you that I hope and Pray Joe's doctor will say to you both that it can be removed easily with no necessary treatments needed.
Please know your Beach family will be thinking of you both today.
I hope we see you later with great news.
XOXO

HLMABE,
I have no idea who you are, nor do I care. I was not aware there were places on the board that were restricted to who may post there. Are you a moderator? I will allow the moderators to limit my posts, but no one else.
Sincerely,
CherrylH

Dear Beachgoers,
Sahalie ... it is a sad day.
I won't be back ... I'll say hello to my old friends in private.
love,
Bren
PS - edited by me, paragraph was out of line for this thread. Apologies.
-
Sahalie, you are so right...thinking of Joe,Margo. We are all there with you in spirit...
Hello to you Cherryl,Nicki,Bren and everyone else...this beach was founded on the premise of support for everyone offering love, support and friendship.
Not sure what is going on here...I am going back to the sand dunes and build castles. No beach walks today...
Iris
Edited to add: I think I do need a long beachwalk..maybe it is I who should be walking...best to everyone!
-
edited to add. . . Aren't the colors beautiful!
-
I see no problems on this thread. I wonder why a new poster would come here and start this negativity. Let's not get childish. I don't post much anyways.
Because life is short and I don't hold grudges.......
-
Wanting to check on Margo's DH..............hoping all went well with Joe, and will be checking back for an update.
I have a super full week.....I'm here and will check in, but all will have to handle the Cabana Boys without my 'mouth'!! Nothing serious.....just 2 new clients for the short term, inservice day, DD'S graduation!!!!, and Mom.

(stowing away inside Faith's bag)
Faith, I finished packing for your trip to Aruba. Don't forget this bag when you leave! Don't worry if it seems a little too heavy, that's just some extra undies I put in there for you.
-
Beach babes in paradise Faith, Jasmine, Wings, Neesie, Susan, Amy, FPAngel, Margo and bearyadorable Iris.
Now we have reason to Party!
Grab your castanets, most colorful full dresses and get ready to take on the dance floor and beach boys.
I smell barbecue on the grill and hear music in the air.
Who wants a margarita? Mojito? Lemonade?

What a coincidence.
Captain Iris is ready to hoist the main sail and I'm filling up the galley with treats and liquid refreshments as we ready ourselves to follow Faith to Aruba.
-
umm...where's the pic???
-
What picture is missing?
-
the one you just posted. All I see is a box with a red x.
-
It's 93* here right now at almost 5:30PM.
Hot.
I was at the farm today pruning things and had to come home to my AC.
My face was beet red.
Tomorrow is sposed to be even hotter.
*
-
The one of Captain Iris and our boat?
-
Yes, its unusually hot for the first week of June here as well. It doesn't usually get this hot until July and August. Sure makes me believe in global warming.
-
Yes that's the one
-
Oh, there it is. Too cute!
-
I think we need to get the beach trumpets out and put out the call.
Mondays are like that you know.
-
My guy Chris and his buddy Jimmy are giving to call to our beach loverlies.
*
-
All quiet on the beach tonight.
Time for dinner and a glass or two of KJ Chardonnay.
I hope all is well and our beach family will feel safe to back onto the beach and enjoy life, friendship and support as we should be allowed to without trouble.
Blessings to all.
Wings * I hope you are having a great time.
Faith * You must be so excited getting ready for your trip.
Mine is in October.
I would love to see more pictures of Sarah and the beach babes plus WB.
They always make things seem just fine on the beach.
Neesie * Whats happening in your neighborhood.
How's Mom?
Margaret * We all eagerly await news on Joe.
Foots * Bring your smiling face to the beach and dip your toes into the cool waters of the waving waves.
Iris * We have a boat to gear up for our sail to Aruba to surprise Faith and her dh.
Ames * Goat pictures are needed ASAP to bring smiles.
I hope you are feeling OK and into summer fun.
Susan * You must be the busy WM Specialist with all the summer shoppers at your doors now.
Pop in soon OK.
Jasmine * Thank YOU.
Tipping my glass to each one of you wonderful ladies.
XOXO

trumpet call, rejoicing in jaz return: we are indeed blessed to have cultivated such strong bonds. i feel so relieved to see you jazzy -- with the perfect reminder, thank you. we are blessed to have each other!! we are blessed to have this place. we are blessed to have this beach. let us focus on our blessed-ness.
the creeping crud continues & is now at a brisk crawl. i have sought intervention -- before i'm overwhelmed
hope to pop in later, when babbeez settle a bit
-
so i basically spent the ENTIRE day getting myself into the doctor's office, getting a prescription for my CRUD and getting back here: DD's. i had one happy personal moment where i stopped into a very contemporary quilt store.
even tho i look like a George Lucas, special effects swamp monster, the sweet young doctor says it's just an over-zealous case of poison crud. he did wonder if i'd been exposed to something actually chemical in nature -- as my skin look BURNED and is also swollen.
he put me on a steroid that he think will really be knocking it out within these next 48 hours..... good thing, or i'll be the cyclopsis in aruba..... as my eye is getting over-taken.
thank goodness that i wasn't in this glory on Sat -- I would have frightened the children. LOL
here's to sand castles tomorrow and all the other fun that sahalie can cook up.
Margo. I know that you're probably exhausted, but please stop in when you are able and give us a clue on Joe.
lull in babytown, abruptly over.........
hugs to each and all.
xx00xx00xx00xx
i got one of those circular emails today that prompted you to always tell the people who are important to you, when you love them
Beach bunnies: i do indeed love you

Hi ladies, no time but wanted to give you an update on Joe. The dr. took some more today and if there are no clear margins then he goes to the dermatologist. He has an aggressive invasive kind but should be ok. Will know more later. Thanks for your positive thoughts.
Edited to change the dr. from a PS to a dermatologist.
-
Margo. Thanks for manufacturing the energy to let us in on this.
I am so sorry that you are going thru this. Thank goodness you have each other. My imagination would be running wild right now. I hope that you can take a deep breath and take things one step at a time.
It's so good that you can count on one another.
All of my fingers crossed for clear margins. Pronto.
Listen to the lapping of the gentle waves.
Prayers and hugs to both of you.
