K then~ :)  Neighbors are wrapping it up with their company and should be
sound asleep in an hour and dh is already dozing.  A/C is on at everyone's
house since it's still 90 and the thunder and lightening and clapping.  Time
to roll here, as NO will here his screams (if he gets the chance!)  And with
luck, I'll be done with my job by midnight and you can pick up the shovel
and hayrake anytime there after! :D

I've got a garden fork and another shovel I can use in the gardens tomorrow,
so don't worry about returning them soon, K? :D

Should let you know I suppose that we have tornado watches possible heading this way about midnight from the southeast of us, so watch the weather!  Hate to think you'd fly away with a shovel or rake in your hands!  Could be dangerous!  :)

    D,

Also Shirley was going to bake a chocolate cake for the DD and DH. Maybe we could get that for after and have a snack. You bring the milk. I can taste the cake now.

Oh man!  Didn't she say it was going to be CHOCOLATE!  :) I'm in!  Just picked up 2 gallons of milk!  One for each of us!  We'll get sh*tfaced on chocolate and milk after!  Probably OD on the caffeine and end up in the hospital!  I wonder if we can use that as an excuse?

I think that my excuse will be that I am perimenopausal (DH tells me this all the time) or I have PMS (DH also tells me this all the time) or I am depressed (DH also tells me this all the time). Told him I was going to buy some Harley boots on sale and kick ass now that I have kicked cancer's ass, I am looking for anyone who needs their ass kicked. I have lots of excuses. Or I could tell them that after the last 1 1/2 years that I am just crazy from all of the CRAP that I have had to deal with.

Maybe we should just win the lottery and all go on a BC cruise to the warm southern islands and drink MOJOHITO's. It would keep us out of jail. What ya think?

    Kerry

I may still have to buy the Harley boots. Not my style at all, but things are changing around here.

Well, can't say what her boots my look like, but they sound like great ones, if they are good at the @sskicking job! :)  Although if we win the lottery, we could all buy them and wear them on the lido deck (is that the good one) while those latinos youngins serve us smooth liquor! :)

Okay then!  The thunder and lightening has arrived!  Time to shut down for a bit, so guess I'll just hit the hay!

Remember the tools are in the RED barn, K?  There's a lightswitch on the left :)  Enjoy your job! :D

    Wish,

This plan is starting to really sound interesting. Just wish that GSG and Shirley could join in the fun, and the rest of the girls. I have never been on a cruise, so I do not know what the lido deck is. Maybe it should be changed to the limbo deck. Sounds like more fun.Maybe someone can clue us in. And the story gets better with the young latinos serving us liquor. I like dark haired men. But it is really funny, as the SIGNIFIGANT ones have always been blonde haired men with BROWN eyes. It must be my M.O. now. The brown eyes are the killer for me, nice and dark. I have never dated a man with blue eyes. They have all had brown eyes. Weird, but that is the deal breaker for me. Gotta have brown eyes. Anyways we can all get the Harley boots and they look like Frye boots and do some serious *ss kicking on the cruise. After we eat the chocolate cake.

    Kerry

P.S. I tell ya, times are a changing. I do not even own a pair of boots. I am usually in sandals with some height to them and a fresh pedicure.OMG!!!

    Kerry and wish,

You guys have done some brilliant work here tonight--I think it's a breakthrough!!  (Is the husband still breathing?)  I always seem to sleep through the good parts.  I've never been on a cruise either but I think we should reserve the mildo deck (you might have been here for that one or you might have to read back, it concerned Shirley's dd).  This will be accomodations strictly for for the bald or have been bald, assymetrical or have been assymetrical, perimenopausal or just homicidally angry and Harley boots shall be an absolute requirement.  We will have young, BROWN-EYED latinos for entertainment (nothing too racy, they will sing and dance like, you know, sexy but kind of wholesome at the same time) and cabana boys wearing very little shall bring us--Mojitos--or chocolate cake and very cold milk, depending on the hour.  And no one will have housework on this cruise, obviously, and we'll all look great in a bikini, (or no one will care), and there will of course be no tornadoes (hope the red barn survived)....that's all I can come up with right now, but flesh it out for me and I'll be back later when you slugs are up and out of bed!!!

Thanks for the morning giggle, I needed it!!

    Love,

    Sue

P.S.  Kerry, you should bring your sandals and have a fresh pedicure because a girl never knows when she will want to take her boots off!

    Sue,

I think that this is shaping up to be a great cruise!!! The mildo deck sounds good. But can I please have 1 blonde haired man with BROWN eyes serving me my MOJITOS? We can also invite the depressed, and the PMSers and the menopausal. We can all wear bikinis and tell each other how absolutely maavalous we look. I will bring my Harley boots and the pedicure I am sure I can get that done on the boat. This sounds like fun. After we are in our bikinis then we all have to do a shot of tequila. And we will all look even better after the tequila and then we all can jump in the pool and play water volleyball with the cute latino guys and the 1 blonde haired guy. Oh what fun this is going to be.

I need a new pedicure now as I had to remove my nail polish from my feet for the surgery, so I am going to book one this week. Also I think that I make the DH nervous as I told him about the Harley boots that I want and then I told him that I was going to buy a Harley next. This is what happens when you are perimenopausal, PMSing and depressed and have BC and an 8 yr old child all at once. I am taking the DD to the movies this afternoon, "Kung Foo Panda". Me and my foam will be there. It is so hot here. With the humidex I think that it will feel like 40 celsius out there. My foam will melt to my chest and become a part of me.

    Happy cruising ladies,

    Kerry

    Girlz...do not go without me.

You know I have been having cop troubles with my DH, and we haven't done much speaking this week.

I have my own shovels, also a nice big heavy metal bar, should do the trick quickly and quietly, so by the time I get on my flight to meet up with you all on the cruise a certain someone will be pushing up daisys on my lawn!

BTW my DH has the most fantastic hazel/green/gold eyes, they are the only bits of him I communicate with at the moment !!!

    Isabella.

K, Isabella, I'll bring my dh's green eyes too.  Although as mad I can get at him, there might not be much left of him to find amongst the pulp! :O

COP troubles with DH?  Hmmmm...sounds interesting...Did I miss something Isabella?

Surely, we'll have the 'guys' bring your coffee to the recliner, Deb.

I'm thinking some triple mocha frappacino's are sounding loverly for me!  Have to make sure they have the mixings before we push off, b/c I've be/c addicted to it and now dd has bought all the fixings to make them at home, I've dug out my coffee grinder and maker again!  Whhoooohoo!

Oh probably not tonight again!  We've got some big thundering and lightening heading in again in within the hour again :(  Lost some major limbs from a huge tree in the back acreage. Some smaller ones about 6 inches across near the house.  Lucky we were though, the neighbors lost a major limb and their electricity last night and were without power! I'd have died without my A/C it's been so humid!  These hot flashes (I've heard women call them power surges!) HA! Hot flashes are not conducive to high humidity and not A/C at all, at all!

Anyway...No, probaby be shutting down soon again, I can see the sky lighting up south and west of here as well as north!  It's all around us!  Eeeek!  4th night in a row of these major storms!

    Ladies,

Everyone is invited on the cruise. Deb, they will serve you coffee wherever you want them to. Only thing is the guy with the Dark Brown eyes and the blonde hair is strictly reserved for me.

Isabella,  Book your flight now. You may get a good seat sale. Tomorrow I am going out to lunch with a girlfriend to the little port town 5 minutes down the road on Lake Erie, then we are having lunch and having drinks and then going to walk around the town and look in all the little shops. DH is going on the class trip with DD tomorrow. I have the whole day all to myself. It is going to be maavalous. Maybe I will try on bathing suits for the cruise. Oh, I forgot about my foam, poop!!! Then maybe I will try on new sandals for the cruise. And maybe some new sunglasses. And maybe some new tops. And maybe some new shorts. And maybe some new..............

I don't know what they gave me in the O.R. on Friday, but for both Friday night and Saterday night I could not get to sleep. Both nights I took a sleeping pill. On Friday night I think that I finally took the sleeping pill at 3:15 am and last night I took the sleeping pill at 2 am. Tonight I think that I will take one right now. I was just wide awake. Maybe they gave me some steroids. It was wild. We had a major storm go through here at 6:30 pm. It was the wildest thing, when you looked out the window it was all white and it looked like snow, but it was rain. One of our big old willow trees in the back came down. We were lucky as it came down right where it was supposed to. If it went the other way then it would have landed on the neighbour's garage/shop and the other way it would have landed on the pond at the back. Just a stroke of good luck. I loved that old tree. It was soo hot here today. Thank goodness for the air conditioning. The humidity was brutal.

    Wish,

I am in Ontario, in the southern part. I am 1 hour away from Sarnia/Port Huron, and I am a dedicated cross border shopper. The little town on Lake Erie is Port Stanley. For years people have been trying to get a ferry from Post Stanley to go across to Cleveland. I don't think that it will ever happen. I am 5 minutes away from Port Stanley. And I just love being that close to a lake. I am a water person through and through and so is the DD. We live down at the lake in the summer. And after last winter I am going to be there every day that I can. Just have to get rid of this foam. Hey, I was feeling around the new foobs and I have CLEAVAGE!!!! I have never had that before. I will have to buy my PS a present when I get near the end of reconstruction. Not only did she give me some new boobs, but I also got cleavage out of the deal.

Well....I wasn't going to clean, but geesh! I ended up doing more work than had I worked INSIDE :(

We had some major limbs fall overnight last night, and what a mess.  While we doing clean up, I mentioned the how disgusted I was with the eaves not having gotten cleaned out this spring :(  Oh my!  We cleaned those early this morning.  Just finished up.  Did break for meals and for a short nap earlier, but wow!  I am bushed!

    Me and my big mouth!

    Sue,

Glad to hear that I am someone's role model. I will have to print that off to have it and show it to the little DD. She is 8 and acting like a pill. I am sure not her role model!!!! Women, HONESTLY!!!!

    Wish,

DH was looking in the back yard and along with the big willow that came down in the very back, now we also have another tree that had the top ripped off of it and it is now partially in the pond. And more storms came in tonight. Will cool down tomorrow. Boy, was it hot and HUMID today. Too hot to clean.

Listen to this, talking about Little Women. I went out to lunch with my girlfriend today.Had a nice lunch and dessert. When it was dinner time I was still full, so not very hungry. I only ate 1/2 of my hamburger for dinner. The DD tells me "Mom, you need to eat all of your dinner!!"   Pardon me? I am suppossed to be the Mother here. Then the other day the DH is brushing his teeth quick to take her to school and she tells him "How long did you brush your teeth for? That was pretty quick. You know that you are suppossed to brush them for 2 minutes"

Please help, I am living with "DD The Dictator" And I thought my Husband was bad!!!!

    Kerry

Maybe I'll just run away or go on that cruise.

    Kerry,

My little dictator turns 9 tomorrow and she is creating a "mini-me" with her little sister!  I asked her to repeat something she said today and she tells me "I'm only going to say things once."  I said, "Great, then I expect the same from you."  She said, "What did you say?"  Uh huh.
