    Have anyone had breast cancer in both breast? I had it in 2002 in the left breast and 2007 in the right breast. How do I deal with fear of it coming back?

    Lovell, Several ladies on the boards are dealing with a 2nd dx in the opposite breast. maybe someone will see your post and reply.

    I had precancer cells in both breasts 2 different times before my dx with DCIS April 2007. Because I did not want to deal with a possible invasive cancer later, I opted for bilat mast. by doing that it reduced my risk to 1% of another dx of bc.
