I am one year post IBC diagnosis. What a roller coaster year but my CT and bone scans today were NEGATIVE! May you all know the joy!

Way to go Marian!!! We all need to know every positive milestone in this battle. I just heard from a 16 yr survivor last weekend! She's going strong and not looking back. May we all be so fortunate in our battle w/ this beast . Each of us trust your year will turn into two; mine into four and Kathleen's into seventeen. There is hope. Stay well.

Marian,
That's awesome! May we all see many more of these milestones.

Congrats on your one year mark. I know looking back I was not sure I would make it to that mark. ( i will make 3 years in july and cancer free! - dx 8/05 ibc, stage IIIB, IDC 2cm, grade 3 2/9 nodes, er+/pr+ her2+++)
I had 6 rounds dd AC, followed by double mast, followed by 12 weekly Taxol and then on year of every 3 weeks herceptin - finally finished herceptin in 11/07 (I had some heart issues with Adriamicin so it slowed Taxol and herceptin).
again....congrats to all of us survivors!
