Anyone starting chemo in June? I get my port-a-cath on May 30 and have my first treatment soon after. I would love someone to talk to and am apprehensive about the chemo. I will get Cytoxan, Taxotere, and Herceptin. I am still in shock because everything has happened so quickly. They said my cancer was not in my lymph nodes (3 sentinel nodes removed) but my oncologist said it showed up in my lumphatics. Does anyone know what that means exactly?

We just got a thread for June Chemo started over in the Chemo section of the board.....I am assuming I will be a June girl....I don't go for my post op until the 27th of May.....just had lumpectomy and axillary node dissection......it was supposed to be SNB.....but the sentinel node was positive....so she went ahead and removed them all.....I will find out from the results.....how many are involved....I gues this is one test where you hope for a low score...lol......at which point I will get the referral to the onco......but judging by other's time frames.....I think I will be srtarting in June.....so with all that rambling out of the way......I don't know the answer to your question.....you will have to ask your onco to clarify what he means.
We will get through this.....we don't have another choice.....chin up!
