    Hattie had mentioned going to this and had very complimentary things to say ...  I got a brochure about this years' event at the Komen Race for the Cure over the weekend.   This years' dates are Sept 13-14 at the Memorial auditorium in Sacramento.  The conference is free ...  they do ask that you pay for lunch or bring lunch though.

    Is anyone interested in going ?  I'm pretty sure I'm going to go this year. Is anyone else interested in going ??

    hi doreen!

     I've been away awhile, trying to get used to the new look.  Where's the girl with the hat???

    I'm hoping to get to Healing Journeys-- it was really helpful and inspiring last time I went (in the middle of chemo).  Now I'm 3 years out and I was hoping to volunteer. 

    Hope all is well with you, and we see some more NorCal or other friends there.  It's really great.

    Hi Hattie!!!  I've missed you... the girl with the hat is gone ...  looks like she's gone forever. The look of the boards has changed a lot ... and there have been lots of really good improvements made. It takes a bit to get used to.

    I'm not going to be able to go to Healing Journeys' this year - I had to cancel my reservation. I hope to go the next time they put one on.  It sounds fabulous... 

    I hope you'll get to go this year.  How's things up in the Redwoods ?  Did you guys have any of the fires near you ?  It's been a terrible summer for fires this year - Butte county was hit very hard. I had many sleepless nights in June and July - the fires were too close for my comfort.  

    I hope to see you around more frequently Hattie!
