Liveit- good luck to you!  I hope everything is clear!!!!!  I just had mine about 2 weeks ago, and now have to go back for another biopsy.  The way I'm seeing it, I won't have to worry about PBMs, cuz their gonna keep taking stuff out til there's nothing left.  Saves me from making that decision :)!  Keep us posted- hugs Denise

Wishing both of you luck - Denise and liveit. It certainly is a merry-go-round with the monitoring stuff. I had 2 biopsies 1 year after my excision - both turned out to be benign.

I know that doesn't help much with the worry and stress-its hard not to go to the worst case scenario. Let us know how it goes, OK? I have my sooper seekrit boobie lesion killer. Remember, it will be working when you are fast asleep, keeping those nasties at bay.

Hey, leaf, I've been saving my box tops. Can I get one of those sooper seekrit boobie lesion killers too? Please? Please? (OK--just kidding!Cool)

Denise and liveit, I will be thinking of you and hoping for the very best. Liveit, do you go to a place where they give you results immediately? I didn't always, but now I do, and it does help a lot.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday!

    Have a great day, everyone.

Hey ladies, well it is over with but I want know anything till my doctor sees my mammogram...she is in the same place so they said it will probably be just a couple of days till she calls....they said that is her way of doing things she wants to talk to you directly and I have no problem with that.

They had to do several shots...radiologist wanted to see more she said....I had a lot of scar tissue she said and he wanted to make sure he was seeing the right stuff...she sounded very upbeat and said I have nothing to worry about but have to wait for Doctor to talk to me.

I am just glad it is over with....this one really  hurt when they squeezed my breast...must be from all the scar tissue.

Oh, leaf thanks for the sooper seekit boobie lesion killer...I just know it workedLaughing and thanks all the rest of you for you kind wishes...right back at ya.

Wishing you all the very best and thanks for being there...I was so scared.

I'm glad everything sounds like it was upbeat - that's the way we want it. I have confidence in my sooper seekrit boobie lesion killer. I'll lend it out whenever somebody needs it, but only if the promise to keep it sooper seekrit.

Wonderful, liveit! Congratulations! Boy, don't you love it when they say, "see ya in 6 months!" I'm so happy for you.

Now, are we gonna have some chocolate to celebrate?

Great news, liveit! But you got a 7 month reprieve, not a 6 one! You must have charmed them.

I had my 6 mo monitoring with the onc yesterday at the cancer center, too. I've seen WAAAY too much of that place, taking my friend with a very serious cancer (stage 4, inoperable, really poor prognosis) for many of her weekly chemo and weekday rads (simultaneous) there. I was shocked they didn't schedule her an appointment with ANYBODY after her 6 week course of treatment. They said the onc was all booked up. So I offered to give my friend my appointment , as we have the same onc. (She's eager to stay on chemo, at least last time I talked to her.) I mean, wouldn't it be good to have a clue what is next? That must make patients feel really abandoned, especially if it looks like their cancer isn't responding.

So I wasn't so worried about me. My friend is going to die of her cancer a LOT sooner than I will get bc, let alone die of bc. We all gotta die sometime of something. I work at a hospital, and its freaky for me to see orders for women admitted with metastatic breast cancer who are exactly my age. It is so sad.

Your right leaf I did get 7 months....hope they ment to do that...I'm not saying anything...I think it is a good sign.

To bad about your friend....you are a great friend to do all you are doing...they are hard to come by let me tell ya.

I know what you mean about to much on your plate....it seems we all have so much going on anymore some is good and some isn't.

You also need to worry about you also...I also see women and men my age and younger come in for chemo and radiation and some of them have given my family so much hope and I find them remakable people...my Dad had cancer and my Mom and my husband all survivers of cancer....my Dad passed recently but not from the cancer.

I pray every day that we all become cancer free and I don't even mind playing the waiting game anymore...it's just what I have to do...there are many more out there that are't so lucky...don't get me wrong I still get scared when testing comes up...guess that don't go away.

Well, anyway everyone take care and many blessing and love and live life.

    liveit
