Sam and Liz- you guys will be so missed! We'll have at least one for each of you.
I am getting excited. I need to get my house clean, can't leave a mess behind.
Donna- I just noticed that my legs need a once over. They are almost hairless now since the menopause thing, but a few strays are visible. (LOL) Love nest? OMG, you guys crack me up!
-
Looking forward to meeting up Friday nite at Shawbies. Tables are reserved. Donna have your sister and friend come--the more the merrier!
I am sorry, but I am going to have to back out of having you all out for lunch on Saturday--the roof in our bathroom and family room has started leaking big time. One sofa is soaked and will be tarped once it dries out a little. The roofer is coming Saturday to find the problem. (The problem is he put a new roof on 2 yrs ago and we've had problems ever since!!! grrrrr) I'm trying to also call the ladies I have numbers for who won't be at dinner on Friday!
See all y'all tomorrow nite!

Junie - sorry to hear about your leaky roof...that sucks big time!
I'm SO glad it finally quit raining....they even cancelled school here today because of flooding....streets look like rivers. I don't drive well in the rain either, so glad to hear it's supposed to be sunny tomorrow!
See you there!
-
Junie - sorry about the roof!
I guess we'll be going to Shawbies tomorrow night!
-
PS - good thing I'm brain dead! Had to get on this thread to see what hotel I was staying at!!!
-
lol Karilynn, I look forward to seeing you again and meeting you mom.
Junie- sorry about the roof, I thought we should all get together and start building an ark. I really don't like driving in the rain, 5 hrs in the rain and I may need to get a massage as soon as I get there. Hopefully Donna is right about the sun. I know if I don't take the convertible the sun will shining all weekend.
Donna- Can't wait to meet your sis and friend, is Autumn still coming? Are you driving with sis?
What about the Oasis? I heard it was a good ol' hippie place with some good Tex Mex, I may wanna check that out some time on Sat.
Susan, if there's a service on Sun, I would love to go.
I know I have cell #s for Donna, Susan, Karilynn and Junie (if it is the same as in Vegas) Mine is the same unless you deleted me!
I'll be leaving StL around 10am, I hope I don't run into any flooded road. I should be there by 4pm or so? Depends on potty breaks.
Safe Journey to all- Dress in layers with this crazy weather.

Anxiously and impatiently waiting for pics and info!!!!!!!!!!! I actually thought of driving over yesterday but talked myself out of it! Next time I'll go!
Liz
-
Liz - we missed you!!
Couldn't believe it, yesterday it started SLEETING like crazy about 11:00! Christine and I decided we should head back, and thankfully we didn't run into anymore bad weather once we were out of Eureka.
Had a great time, and it was wonderful meeting everyone. Even if I did poison myself with vodka Sat night then sang karaoke.
I love the shops and galleries there. Wish we would have had more time to explore. Sister Kristi, her daughter Autumn and friend Becky went to the big cat reserve Sat about 7 miles from downtown Eureka and they said it was awesome.
Now back to the old insurance grindstone...YUCK! My boss told me Thurs that I was going to be taking on a new project - interpreting legislation for NINE states. Crap! I should have stayed gone! Why did I come back? Oh yeah, I remember now....BILLS.
Hope everyone has a great day, and I look forward to the next get together.

What a fun week-end and so glad to catch up with friends I've met and meet more new ones. Haven't downloaded my pics yet, so not sure what I've got...but, will share if you want to PM me your e-mail addys. And, I know Christine has a shot of CasinoGirl in doggie jail that I'd like to see! LOL!!!!
The sleet/snow flurries blew what was left of my mind away! At first, I thought there was a forest fire somewhere shooting ash into the air--no way did I think of SNOW until we went outside! Bummer!!!
You guys missed a real Ozark experience when you opted out of breakfast at the Smokehouse Restaurant. They had breakfast entertainment--some old gal (older than me, I'm sure) on a keyboard, belting out songs and playing "name that tune"!! She really was pretty good, but not what you expect at breakfast!!! What a hoot!
Susan, thanks for the bracelet! That was so nice, and I am so glad to finally meet you!
We're not all that so far apart--myabe it could be a get-together more often than yearly! Just a thought!!!
big huggssss to all!!!

Hey Susan - thanks for posting the pics! You can all be looking for either Christine and I on the next American Idol. Do they have "Old American Idol" yet? Maybe we can start a new show....
Had a great time in Eureka. My sister's name is actually Kristi (not Cherie, but trust me, she's been called worse LOL!) Autumn is adorable and has the BEST hair. When I was bald from chemo, I used to ask her if she'd donate some of it to me. Ha!
-
Thanks so much for including me, Autumn and my BFF Becky in your group! We so enjoyed meeting all of you! - Donna's much younger sister, Kristi (aka Kritter, Cherie, Krusti, etc.)
-
I just found these pics - thanks for sharing wish I could have been there. Junie, Christine & Cheryl - you haven't changed since I saw you in Vegas. Did anyone video the singing stars?? It might have made a good You Tube flick. Looks like you all had a great time. Maybe next year!!!
