    That is exactly what I was planning to do....let him go all the way around the world with a vague notion of what yummy treats await him on his return. Especially since I learned last night that he's visiting a woman in Russia he met on match.com who, from what I'm gathering, is hot for him, though he claims not to feel the same way about her. Hence, his bringing his guy friend on the trip. So we're going out next weekend and my plan is to definitely get to the passionate kissing stage and then let it stay there until he's back in town. So far, the plans include a street festival, some trail-hiking, a ride on the lake in is boat and dinner out. I'm psyched!

    i met so many men on match.com when i was dating but no one that would travel across the world to see me

    did he meet her already ?   or is this a first

    i never searched past 20 miles from me on that site

    i am sure that she is no competition for you!

    Yeah, he has met her. She actually contacted him on match when she was staying in Houston for some educational thing (she's a physician interested in holistic medicine) and then visited him once or twice. He's made it clear that he only wants a friendship with her, but it sounds like she'd like more. Whatever. There's something about him that makes me feel completely secure and okay with it (is this my old naivete?).

    So for our second date...and the last one before he leaves for Russia....I need to decide on an outfit that's sexy, but not TOO sexy. That should be easy since we'll be hiking and one can hardly wear a mini skirt, bustierre and heels on a trek, right? I think I'm going for my tight jeans and a snug-fitting T-shirt. And my chastity belt of course Wink....

    Heck Marin, looks like we are walking similar paths here!!!!

    My guy was is very cute...he's a baseballer player so has a really cute hinney....beautiful brown eyes that swallow you up!!! Very sensual with words and hands (I was just a little bad, didnt jump in the sack but it sure wasnt cause I didnt want too!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

    This part is kind of funny......I thought he was from about 200 miles from here, but as it turns out he is from Arizona......The guys got class, I will give him that!!!!! He flew in from Arizona early Saturday morning, then rented a car and drove 2 1/2 hours to get here in time for our 4 p.m. date....this all can to light within the first 1/2 as we were having coffee......he apologized and said he wasnt trying to be deceptive but he for some reason he thought I wouldnt meet him if he lived so far away.....we then proceeded to get him a hotel, then dinner and dancing......then back to the hotel for awhile and (sadly) Jule drove home.....but dang, if I were one to hope in the sack with a guy I just met.....He would be the one.....he gives wonderful rubs.....and explained to me that if I get comfortable and things proceed he would be more than happy to show me how well he does tantra......

    Well, thats it for my weekend.....

    Hi Marin,

    Just have to add my 2 cents here, hope you don't mind. Do you think that it might be better to wear a pair of shorts that are tight fitting and down to the knees so he can see how good your legs are from the knees down. I don't know if it will be warm enough where you live for shorts. Just a thought.

    Marin, sweetie ....

    If he's made it clear he only wants a friendship with Russian lady, why is he going to Russia?  And if he knows she wants more and he knows he doesn't ... why would he get her hopes up by traveling all the way to Russia?  They've obviously got a history.  She's seen him a couple of times already.  Did he, or she, travel from Houston to NC? Why didn't he just cancel the flight to Russia, rather than go and bring a friend with him?  I'm still stuck on the he wants a friendship and she wants more thing. Why string her along?

    If you've got his last name, I'd invest $40 and do a background search on the guy. 

    After you check him out ... then go crazy over him!!

    Hi Marin,

    My 2 cents again and I now really hope that you do not mind. But, this was the thought that flashed through my mind. Could he be going to Russia with a friend to introduce his friend to the lady in Russia because he thinks that they could get something going? Maybe he thinks that he is not attracted to her and wants to be just friends, but he also has a male friend who he thinks could get along just great with her (Russian Lady) Just a thought and something to ponder before you see him again. Maybe see if you can get any info out of him on your next date before he goes to Russia and why the friend is going with him.

    Okay, Marin - I, too, had to chime in about why he's going ALLLLLL the way to Russia (it isn't just around the block...) to see someone who he only wants 'friendship' with. Hmmmm. Well, just be careful.

    And I second the idea of shorts (I'm sure you can find some sexy ones!) as you will be miserable in jeans, tight or not. Wear a tight (breathable) short sleeve or no sleeve top with a removable long sleeve jacket and you will look sexy AND be comfortable.

    Oh, and don't forget that your socks must be all synthetic! Any cotton at all and your feet will sweat and you'll risk blisters.

    Maybe it is all some top secret spy thing with the "Russian Lady". Like Interpol. Maybe you have stumbled onto something really BIG. Going to Russia with a friend to meet the "Russian Lady".This could be very interesting, please keep us posted. I have a very active imagination. Oh, how my 2 cent mind is wandering.     OMG, I think you all have amazing imaginations! When I met P. on chemistry.com, one of the first things that we connected on was our mutual interest in Russia! We each studied quite a bit about the Soviet Union when we were kids and did lots of reports on it, had loads of travel books about the country and collected Russian paraphernalia. He was trying to learn Russian and I had given up my eforts on learning it, but recalled a few phrases that I used with him. He right away explained that he had met this woman and when she invited him to visit, he jumped at the chance, but didn't want her to see it as a romantic gesture of any kind, so he's traveling with his friend. They're not just visiting her but have an itinerary and will be going to both St. Petersburg and Moscow. I'm crazy jealous, but not of the woman....I'm jealous that he gets to go to a country I've always wanted to visit! But we also share a passion for the Green Mountains of Vermont and the White Mountains of NH, as well as a desire to check out the Outer Banks here in NC.

    And as for shorts, I am NOT going to expose my white, ghoulish legs....NO WAY! While he's away, I'm hitting the tanning bed (I know it's BAD!) and will be prepared for full exposure when he returns! Don't worry about my jeans.....they are awesomely hot and make my butt and waist look like they want to be touched. Yeah. I might wear a cute little wifebeater though....

    marin  i got a spray tan last week before a big event  i had to attend

    it looked amazing !!!  dont bother to work on your tan

    go for the spray ! i only wore my thong underwear and it looked amazing!

    Julia.....doesn't the spray tan smell funny? And it wears off quicker than a real tan will if I keep it up all summer. Plus, I adore the feeling of laying under those warm lamps. Maybe I'll try the spray after the summer's over when it doesn't matter as much. But no thong for me....I want no tan lines at all!

    Now Jule, I was thinking about your guy after I logged off last night and maybe I'm confused....this isn't your "Opie" is it? How did you meet the cute-hiney guy? And more important, when will you be seeing him again?

    P. and I have been emailing all day and there has arisen a very slight sexual innuendo in our messages. Who do you think started that, hmmmmmmm? Innocent

    OMG Pepper!!!!!

    I dont blame you for not resting until he is caught!!!! My grandmother was raped and killed in her own home almost 20 yrs ago now and the entire experience gave me a VERY keen understanding of what it takes to catch someone like that and obviously the judicial system once they are caught......that was the most god awful year and a 1/2 of my life as my family suffered several losses...you do what you need to do to get this person off the streets and we will be here ready to hear your BE BAD stories once you are rested and ready to play...

    And Pepper, I for one can not thank you and people like you for what you do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
