    Did anyone have odd feelings in their breast before dx? I'm trying to determine if the strange feelings I have in my left breast, specifically an occasional fullness or warmness, similar to lactation, are symptoms of ILC or just a coincidence.

    Aimers,

    Before my diagnosis last March, I had the tingly feeling of a let down, then my breast would feel full. I thought it was my maternal instincts kicking in because I was going to see my new grand-daughter. It could be a coincidence but only a doctor can ease your mind...

    Aimers I had feelings of fullness for about 1 year before my dx. Now it was in both breasts although only 1 breast had bc. I always thought that it was my fluctuating hormones (had lots of pimples the last 5 years )

    While I did not think much about it at the time, I had noticed that my left breast seemed "fuller" and was filling out my bra more tightly than the right.  I have no children so I can't identify with the feeling of let down, but I just remember thinking that I wished my right breast was as full as my left.  Don't know why it never ocurred to me that might not be a good thing.  Having already been treated for a ductal bc in the right breast 5 years earlier I don't think I was able to even consider I might have a new cancer in the other breast.
