    How can I approach physically someone from my past that knew me as a whole person. I love him and do not want to feel rejected since I went through a mastectomy 7 ys. ago and would be very embarrasing to me to make love again since I do not want to loose this person particularly.

    I think you might need to put more faith into people.  Do not assume first off that you would be rejected, give people a chance to NOT reject.  Would you judge someone?  Probably not  so If this person is worthy of you and your interest I am sure he is a good person and grown up enough to deal with this. 

    That said, I understand how nerve wracking that must be. It flashed into my head all the time.
