    Hi there!  Laurel and I never connected on the course, although we talked.  She sounded great and finished Boston in 4:46!  That is an awesome time for a warm day and Laurel actively undergoing chemo.  I am so proud of her! 

    PM me if you want to see her marathon photos.  

    Laurel, you are amazing!

    OMG.. doing Boston while on chemo. ! I have to email Runners World, she definitely has to be on one issue on the everyday runners corner.

    Hi everyone,

    I am back and completely exhausted but had a trip of a life time. Great friends, met awesome people, saw wonderful things and ran a great run considering the circumstances. (I am never satisfied in that department) Debbie and I did try to hook a couple of times but it just wasn't in the cards. She was there to cheer me on but so many people. I appreciate that you came out girl.

    Congrats, Laurel!  I'm thrilled that you had a great Boston experience.  "A great run considering the circumstances" is an understatement, I think.  You did phenomenally.

    Wow! Running the Boston Marathon--you go girl! I am from Boston area and that has been my dream.  I give you soooo much credit.  Way to go!!
