Hi ya'll,
Thanks everyone for all the support, and the warm, positive wishes & prayers for my tests... I got the results today, and they were ALL NORMAL, except... the back MRI, if I mentioned it before, I have been having a back ache, and it's been intermittent, but the MRI showe d that I have a herniated disk... L1 & L2. My surgeon said if I wanted, he'd refer me to a specialist, but I said no thanks, 'cause it really isn't hurting too much now. I had just been SO SCARED about mets....
I was sad, today, since I won't have to see my surgeon again, until next year, and I'll be seeing him once a year, for him to check my breasts, and probably, he'll want to make sure I'm getting my annual breast MRIs... Still, I really LOVE this guy!!
Thanks again! I can't thank you enough!!
If you count the 5K I ran about 3 years ago, before my bc dx, YES!
The next person is going to have a wonderful weekend! I am, since I got my test results, and my birthday is Monday, so we'll probably be celebrating ALL WEEKEND!!

Harley - That's the BEST present anyone can get!!! I'm so happy for your good news and of course want to wish you a very happy birthday - April babies rock. I had 2 herniated discs taken care of in '89 (successful surgery) but today there are so many more options before you ever have to think the word "surgery"......

I love RAYMOND... my favorite episode is the one when Ray & Debra are fighting over who will move the suitcase! It is hilarious! It just reminds me of some of the stuff my dh & I fight over...

I may mention the herniated discs when I see my primary care dr. again, in June... I am going to try yoga exercises to strengthen the spine, and see if they help!

Yes, I think only others who have been thru this bc experience would really understand the fear, and the worry about every little pain, so getting a herniated disc dx is a reason to celebrate!!I also freaked out when the board was down!
