next person getting a raise
-
True to the colonoscopy...so see dear Harley you are not alone. My 3-year check up is due in August. I suppose we should be greatful it is not annually.
Miss S - Hugs to your friend who endures this every year. On the flip side, if it keeps us healthy...it's well worth it. Hugs to you too Harley!
True to Butterscotch - Yum!
False to the raise, although I wish.
The next person is still modest - even after BC.
-
Thanks, takingcare... I have heard that we only need to get them once every 5 years?... Sometimes, I read 3 yrs, and sometimes I hear 5... My dh has a family hx of colon cancer, and the dr. told him not to come back for FIVE years!! I wonder if this will be another of those things that each dr. has his own protocol about how often we need followups...in that case, my surgeon will probably opt for the most often followups... sigh...
True...I am still modest. Also, very embarassed about discussing all these things with drs... I know, they ARE drs., but still, geez...
I just had a one year follow up with my surgeon, and was embarrassed to ask him about a mole on my left butt cheek, and ... a bruise in between my cheeks! (I didn't know it was a bruise, so I had to get him to look at it! How embarrassing!
)
The next person will have eggs for dinner tonight! I will... it's my "last supper", before my 'cleansing day'.

Harley: Good luck - get thru the prep, the C is a piece of cake - you'll sleep thru the whole thing. I have to get another this year b/c they found a polyp 3 years ago and dr said I needed to do it again in 3 years. If colon cancer was in my family I would insist on being checked more often.
True - I love rain and love splashing in puddles (only warm rain tho)
Do you EVER get sunshine in Vancouver? I know that part of the country is pretty rainy......but I am still trying to talk Mr. Sun into shining for you.

We have been having the strangest weather here in Vancouver and frankly, I'm sick of it....my BF is in the Cayman Islands as we speak on vacation and I forgot to sneak into her suitcase....someone come and slap me silly.
-
False - the only time I yell at another driver is when they are in back of me and start blowing the horn the second the light changes, or they want me to turn on red and there is either a pedistrian in the walkway OR a sign that says "no turn on red"......then I feel justified in smashing their heads into the window...but cut me off, who cares, I'm not in that much of a hurry.
Pepper - the sunshine is actually there, someone just needs to move those clouds.......
the next person found out today she gained ANOTHER pound since last week....ugh
-
Only a pound -- False....It could be more... freakin Easter Candy

The next person is 40'ish
-
-
TC: I'm with you - love all kinds of food - maybe that's why I'm another lb heavier than last week???????
False - Just turned the big 60 so now I'll be 60'ish tho before BC I felt 30'ish......still have young mind but bod is aging faster than it should be. Isn't there a disease we can get that turns us into young people???
The next person has dirty dishes in her sink
-
Guggerty: I know what you mean. I'm turning 46 and for the first time in my life, I actually "feel" a bit brittle. Not sure if it was the chemo, but when I go to stand after sitting for a bit, my back refuses to work with me! I end up waddling like the granny on Tweetie Bird! Tweet! Tweet! Argh!
