    Please tell me which chemo drugs did the doctor gave you for breast cancer her2neu positive.

    I didnt have chemo so cant help with an answer to your question...I think if you post on the chemo thread you will have better response as the ladies there will be able to guide you...

    Jule, I was diagnosed with HER2 breast cancer in Nov., had lumpectomy, mannoset (?) radiation, taxatere, carboplatin and Herceptin.  I just had my fifth chemo and when I finish the end of April I will get my Herceptin every three weeks for a year and I think the onco is putting me on Femara.  I'm scared to death of recurrence.  Trying to get some stories of success.

    Im sorry to hear of your dx....there are lots of success stories....I didnt go through near the things you have but Im here and Im NED...I dont know the particulars of your situation but I can tell from your treatment that it was different than mine...I "WAS" er/pr+, no nodes involved, stage II, IDC...

    I fear recurrence too....at my last 6 month follow up they saw something in the other breast that turned out to be calcifications but it landed me in surgery again and needless to say scared the daylights out of me!!!! I have my next 6 mo followup next month....I know my appt is a few weeks away still but I can already feel the anxiety building for it....they say that in time it eases but I gotta make it through at least one appt scott free  before I can hopefully start down that road...

    Try to stay on the positive side of things...I know sometimes that is really hard to do...dont feel bad about being afraid, this is scarey business we have had thrown at us.....
