cmv

Hi Everyone,
I posted a comment saying a herbal diagnostician had diagnosed me with CMV, a viral infection lodged in the dna of my abdomen, dormant in 80% of all adults and activated by HIV, cancer and Chemo!!!!!!
This little piece of information cost me $330. She said it is incurable and that you either get better or die!!! But then she had already made up 6 bottles of hokey pokey costing about $30 a bottle!!!!She also told me that I was wheat intolerant, which I never believed. AND that the reason I had bc. was because I had spent my whole life nurturing others.!! Probably quite true.
So when I finally got to see my favourite gp. (5 weeks wait) I told him what I had done and asked him to order the tests through a normal pathology lab. Which he did.
Today I got those results and guess what girls, I am not wheat intolerant and neither do I have CMV. Both of these are a tremendous relief, but I am also angry that I have wasted all that money and stressed myself terribly for 3 weeks on the unnecessary wheat free diet and wondering how I would cope with cmv.?
Yesterday I saw my surgeon on my usual 6 monthly check up and he was very pleased with my progress until he found a sore spot on my 10th rib. So off I go AGAIN next week for another body scan. I am sure it is fine, I am often a bit clumsy in the garden and have probably just bumped myself. But the fear and the stress just never seem to stop for me.
I guess as the years go by and you survive, it gets easier?????????
Hope you are all travelling well,
Sashiko

So sorry you were scammed. Happens to the best at one time or another in one form or another.

On the other hand, you were wise to back it and see your reg doc. It's sad when someone takes advantage. I remember well when I went to get 14 inches cut off my hair before my mast. The hair dresser (new to me), was telling me how I should buy this kit they have that prevents hair loss when you do chemo! Oh sure! Only 40$! HA! I said 'No thank you', in a pleasing voice and ran!
Then on the other hand my dd brough some stuff for a hand situation I got after my last chemo. Couldn't afford the $30 that week to see a derm. These herbs cleared this stuff up pronto. I kid you not! I was so shocked! I've never believed in herb tx till then. I'll still be very suspicious of them, but won't say never again!
As for you test, Hoping and saying a prayer you are right and it's just normal grinds of gardening!
