you are casino girl because you go out and get drunk in casinos, dance on tables, and come home in strange clothes like that pink outfit. this time I will be joining you. OLO
-
Susan I knew I was forgetting something Monday night! Forgot to dance on the tables, dammit! LOL! I'll hold you to joining me in Eureka!
Christine - no 3-card poker. I played that a long time ago and remember it was lots of fun. Maybe I SHOULD have played 3-card poker instead of those HUNGRY slots I played!
-
Remember, you're casino girl, because no one recognized your pics. We said you followed us home from the casino and would not leave. What a riot!
-
Susan:
I haven't gotten a room yet. Just came her to make sure I had the name of the town right and planning on checking out available accomodations. Sure, I am open to sharing a suite and splitting the cost.
-
Less then a month away - time to get those reservations made!!
-
Things don't look like I'm going to make it. You guys have a great time and don't do anything I wouldn't. LOL
-
Liz - what the....? Is everything okay? I promise not to crunch chips in the middle of the night...or at least give it my best shot LOL!

-
Any idea yet who all is coming to Eureka Springs in April? My very informal tally is:
for sures: Susan (MO), ChristineK (MO), DelorisAnn (MO), KariLynn and mom (KS), Donna (OK), Sheryll (OH), junie (Ark), Brenda (Ark)
Almost sure: Sam (KS), Cathyg (OK), AlwaysHope (Ark)
maybe: MB (NY)
very iffy: Crissy (MO), LisaLama (Ark), Hats (MO), Riverwoman (Ark)--was interested and is local but can't get in touch with her...
lizws has expressed regrets--bummer!

What's going on!!!
big hugggssss, junie
-
Just a bump and checking in...
Liz, how can you be so close, you will be so missed. I hope all is OK with you! Plz respond, inquiring minds wanna know!
Love You!
Donna, we need to have a glass or two of wine and a phone call to confirm details.
-
I am going to try to make it for at least one day.. anxious to meet you all.

huggsss to all the "coming to Eureka" folks!! Any thoughts on meeting for dinner Fri nite? I know KariLynn and mom are planning to eat at their B&B. Sparkey's for hamburgers and beer has been mentioned. Great place. And, Shawbie's Big Dog Saloon just two tads away from Sparkys. Shawbie will reserve tables just for us, and if he's there to cook that night--can guarantee anything you order will be excellent--don't know if he has 100 dif kinds of beer, but he's got anything to drink anyone would want! Just throwing it out for consideration.
I'll be gone most of this coming week--net access, well maybe! And, I'll be gone the week before the get-together...just know for sure that we will be heading back from Oklahoma to pick up SG at the airport and head to Eureka for dinner Fri, Apr 11--just need to know where everyone wants to meet--we'll be there!!
Will check in as I can--can't wait to hug old friends and meet new ones! Still planning on a Sat, Apr 12, afternoon meet up at our house for anyone who is interested; I just need to know how many to plan for--
I think any of you newcomers to Eureka Springs will be totally delighted! Can't wait!!!!

Junie,
Can you PM directions and a phone number to me, please. Looking forward to meeting you!!
Kari
-
I have been putting off posting here, cause I don't think I will make it. I'm trying to balance things. shucks.
-
i just have to come. let me see what i can work out
-
Do you need a ride? I would't be surprised if we go through Springfield to get there.
-
Susan - get your ass to Eureka for God's sake, I need my hat
-
yes, i'll be there. i may be dead on my feet and sleep 12 hours a day. ya'll can come and pounce on me. forgot about the hat!!lol
thanks for the offer Kari. i'll bring my car.
i have not contacted bco about the banner. do you all really want it there. i don't care.
bbl

Susan - are you all worn out from being in jail? Think I read somewhere that Deesie had to break you out? I'm sure jail time does put strain on a person....
If you accidentally fall asleep, we won't draw on you or anything

See you there girls! Only 2 weeks away!
As far as the banner goes, it makes no difference to me if it's there or not.
-
If the banner can make it that would be great. More importantly Susan- I can pick you up on the way. I go thru Springfield. I'll call this week. We can make our own banner if needed.
It's late on fri/sat, by now 2 weeks from now we'll all be old friends or just "old" friends seeing each other again. (lol) Can't wait!
-
Junie can you email me directions and phone numbers? I wound up having to work Friday to get out of working 4 days in a row, but do have Sat-Mon off. I am planning on coming unless something else comes up to prevent my going.
CathyG
-
I have my room booked at the same hotel that Donna and Christine are staying at. Basin?? something??
Cathy I tried to find a big suite kinda room we could share but they were all set up as love nests for couples and seeing how we have never even met I thought that might be moving kinda fast. LOL
ok, we need to exchange cell phone numbers so we can find each other.
I have not asked for the banner.
-
Cathy--will send you an e-mail.
Who all will be here to meet for dinner on Friday night? I'm proposing we meet for dinner at Shawbie's Big Dog Saloon. If I can get a tentative head count, I can reserve a couple of tables. The food is very good there and afterwards we won't be pressured to vacate after eating like we would be in a restaurant. Picking up SG at the airport around 3 pm, so should be to Eureka by 5 or so. And, still planning to have all who can or want to come out to my house Sat afternoon for lunch and visiting, say oneish--need a tentative head count for that also.
Can't wait--it's going to be a fun week-end!
junie
-
Junie count me in for both.
I would also like to visit Thorncrown Chapel. Is that what it's called??? do they have church services there on sunday morning?
-
Susan, I think Thorncrown opens back up in April and has Sunday services at 9 and 11 a.m. Check with the front desk at the Basin to be sure. It is a lovely little place; we've been to one wedding held there. Sending you a PM.
junie

Hi Junie, I will try to make it friday if I can find it. I dont know my way around Eureka very well. Where do you live ? going toward holiday Island, do you pass that green house? I was trying to figure it out today when i went to holiday island for shopping. do you know how many ladies are coming yet?
Del
-
Hey, Del!! sending you a PM and have a sticky note to give you a call in a couple days!!!
junie
-
So Christine and I are gonna share a "love nest" at the Basin? Do I have to shave my legs?

Junie - my sister and a friend of hers from KC are coming to Eureka, but don't know if they'll get in for dinner Fri, but I'll find out. Assuming they want to hang with me (us). They're fun girls.
Can't wait to see everyone WooHoo!
-
Yes, you should shave your legs. Christine would appreciate that I bet. LOL
Ok, who wants to meet for dinner at Shawbie's Big Dog at 6:00pm on Friday. ME
-
Just talked to my love nest friend Christine, and we're both shooting to arrive in time for Shawbee's around 6-ish Friday. Also, sister Kristi and her friend Becky from KC would like to join us for a burger and beer (or whatever) at Shawbee's Fri night too if that's okay with everyone.
Can't wait!!!
-
I just want to tell everyone to have a drink for me. I really really really wanted to come. I am no where finished with tax returns and Friday I get some more crap pumped into my turtle shell expander.
Please plan another get together for next year but make it after April 15th - so would love to meet some new faces and see some old ones.
Junie - I would love to come to Holdiay Island and play some golf with you!!! I think my golf season is on hold this year till I get my new perky friends finished.
