Sorry you're in pain, slonedeb and can't get your prescription corrected sooner. Pain and chemotherapy, a devil of a combination.
I keep you close in my thoughts, and always am happy at the responses, prayers, and encouragement you are getting here.
It's a testament to you, the person, in my mind.
Never far from us in Kentucky. Hope you find some relief from your discomfort.

oh for Pete's sake......... insurance and paperwork, it's enough to make you crazy. my daughter just called to say that my tamoxofin had been delivered to her grad school address -- only about 6 hours from our house??????
certainly not like the pain that you are experiencing, slonedeb.... mine is just an inconvenience.
isn't there someone? some agency? that could intervene into this situation?? this is just ridiculous that you should have to endure......
will pray that somehow, someone, with reason and wisdom and authority can come to your rescue.

Hi Deb,
Hugs and prayers coming your way. I wish I could do more for you. Hang in there. Is there anyone you can "borrow" some meds from??? I know that it may not be legal, however if it helps and can be done, what the heck!. Stay positive and know there are so many pulling for you. Regards, Peggy
-
hey slonesisterdeb: sending up prayers for you tonight. know that you are in my heart -- for your spirit and energy to remain high in the face of all of this frustration, pain and uncertainty.
i've gotta think that when you remain "faithful" when all has gone to hell -- that you're laughing in the face of cancer, laughing in the face of darkness, laughing in the face of lonliness and laughing in the face of isolation.
so tonight i'm gonna have a laugh with you. cancer: you can not take our kindhearted slonedeb's faith from her. cancer: you are not big enough to intrude on slonedeb's trust in her creator. cancer: you are not scary enough for slonedeb to give up shining her light to us.
ha ha ha ha ha
slonedeb's faith and vitality is gonna beat you. i know she's gonna win this battle..... so you just might as well back down now.
-
Dearest Deb-
I am sending you prayers for light and laughter and freedom from your pain.
I am sending your docs a quick kick in the arse for leaving you without pain meds!!
Kick some cancer butt my friend

slonedeb...... we're having our first real taste of genuine spring time. what a healing balm, to have a gentle breeze, some sunshine and BLUE skies, for two days in a row.
please know that i continue to hold you up in my prayers -- asking for your strength to continue and grow, for your warrior spirit to continue to fight and for your patience to continue to adapt to all that each day brings to you.
i'm so glad to hear that your son was able to scramble up some meds to hold the withdrawal at bay. hopefully your own doc will get all straightened out shortly. one day at a time, sweet hero. one day at a time.
-
Thinking of you Deb.
Hope it's warming up and you might sit in the sun.
I know you've been in pain, and hope that is being better attended.
Prayers for peace, abeyance of pain, support by family, and sunshine days.

Deb I wish you were here I would take you for a ride on my magic carpet. We would soar high and let all the people down below see how wonderful we are. On the magic carpet we would be free of cancer and pain and enjoy the ride. No thought of sickness and disease. Now that is magic. Close your eyes and we will imagine we are on the ride. Oh yes forgot to mention we have hot new bodies on this trip may as well go all out . LOL Oh yes we will eat candy and all the junk we want to cause we can... It is great to do what we want on this ride. Deb just keep fighting my friend for ctg taught us to not give up. You know on this magic ride we can have her here telling us to stay strong to fight a fight and TO WIN...lots of love my friend. GOD BLESS.........

Deb -
Sending you lot of hugs and prayers. It may not feel like springtime here in Alaska yet, but I'm sending you lots of warm thoughts anyway

SloneDeb: here we are starting a new day. Let's plan a celebration!!
You have managed to navigate all of these rough waters and I think that it's time for a cyber-party.
We need decorations and noise makers, lots of food and plenty to drink. Entertainment. What would you like? It's your party........
Someone who can make balloon animals? Or how about a hot air balloon ride to take you above all of the issues of everyday life?
Kbug has a magic carpet.... we can put that into action as well.
Prayers and gentle hugs. Know that we care. Blessings to you, your whole family, and your niece Lisa in the face of it all. Hold each other up.
