Xeloda + Sutent My mom has br cancer met lung spine & sacrum

Hello Everyone, I'm new to this community and this is my 1st post.  My mom was diagnosed several years ago w/ Breast Cancer HER2+, intraductal.  She went through bilateral mastectomy chemo, radiation and eventually periph. stem cell replacement.  She has since had the cancer return and spread to the lungs and spine.  A PET Scan last week showed it's now in her sacrum (she's been having very bad lower back pain but until this PET scan, they said it wasn't cancer).  She is getting ready to start a study - she'll receive Xeloda and Sutent along with another drug that we're not sure of yet.  Can anyone give me any insight as to what we can expect.  She's in a lot of pain and we (her family) feel helpless.  We want to be prepared for the side effects, etc.. and how we can help.  Any feedback is appreciated.
