    True - I do love to read - also love to get books on cd's from the library to listen to while I drive.  It's so nice to have someone read to you.

    False I don't wear hairspray any more...now that my hair is so short, I just comb it and go!  Nice to not have to blow dry it, and style it...

    Here is the recipe for the muffins... they have LOTS of fiber and they are good for your cholesterol levels, too!

    Applesauce Oat Muffins

    2 C Cheerios...  after measuring, crush them  I use a food processor

    1 1/4 C  Flour

    1/3 C   packed brown sugar

    1 tsp.  ground cinnamon

    1 tsp. baking powder

    3/4 tsp. baking soda

    1 C applesauce

    1/3 C. skim or low fat milk

    3 Tbsp. veg. oil

    1 egg white

    1/2 C. raisins  (optional)

    Grease the bottom of muffin pan, or I use the papers.

    Mix 1st 6 ingredients in a bowl.  Stir in remaining ingredients until moist.  I mix them in my Kitchen Aid Mixer... it is easier!

    Pour into muffin pan.


    Bake @ 400 degrees for 18-22 minutes, til done....  they are so yummy, especially when they are warm, just out of the oven!

    I hope you like them!  They used to put this recipe on the Cheerios box, but they took it off.... I don't know why.

    Thanks for the recipe Harley I WILL try it...I JUST baked orange cranberry muffins my fav...yet they were a little dry...so I hear applesauce helps with that...maybe I need to improvise ?

    FALSE.... I LOVE SPICY... I just made homemade chicken/cheese enchiladas w/ homemade pico de gayo  (sp)  can't spell it but I sure can make it ! Laughing

     And I just have to add that we don't send troops to Iraq but I have two sons in the Israeli Defense Forces!!! Smile

    True..I have a magnetic one on my fridge and bc ribbons on my shoelaces. :-) Oh..and a bc survivor friend of my sister's makes necklaces and each one has one bead with the pink ribbon on it. and I'm not even a bc ribbon fan!
