    I am reading a book about a young mom who had breast cancer.  Her dad also gets cancer during this time.  She references Breast Cancer.org in her book and I wonder if she ever comes on here?  I am really enjoying this book as in many ways it mirrors my own experience.  We have very similar backgrounds and I was 38 when I was diagnosed.  If you are on here love the book.

    Barb....I recall posting about Kelly and her book a few months ago. I think I read about it in O magazine....Anyway, I also think I posted a link to her blog, so if I can find that, I'll post it again here.

    I also often wonder about some of the more renowned bc survivors who mention finding online support. I'm sure that they'd try to stay anonymous in order to feel free to post whatever, but an author writing about her journey would probably be more open in identifying herself....?

    Hi,

    Yes I found your post after I did mine.  Its a good book.  A fast read.  Reminds me so much of my life growing up.  Irish Catholic family, 2 brothers.  Some things are slightly different (i'm i think 4 years older than she is).  Anyway its a good book.  I hope if she does come on here she would identify herself.
