    Hi,

    This is Marlyn. I've been suffering with last one and half year and occasionally feel tremendous pain on the left side. Doctor said right now chemo is not required but also didn't give any assurance about that pain. One of my relatives friend has asked me to use 'Curcumin Extract'. This link has enough information http://www.naturalplaza.com/curcumin.jsp but don't know whether this can be suitable along with my prescribed medicines or not. Although this is natural health supplement. But don't know should I use it with my prescribed medicines or I should stop them and only use curcumin for few days. Really I'm very much scared of my pain!

    marilyn,

    Sorry you are having to deal with this.  I know it is scary to have pain after a cancer dx. Do they not know where the pain is coming from?  Did you have a mastectomy?  Is the pain upper body? Could you be having truncal lymphedema?  I have it and it is painful.

    You can take curcumin with all your meds from what I have read. I have been taking it for a year and half.  At the time I was on the following: chemo, blood pressure, blood thinner, neuropathy meds.

    I would push for scans to find the cause.
