    Has anyone read, "My One Night Stand with Cancer" by Tania Katan?  I am straight but read anything I can find on BC, especially the humorous stuff.  Naturally I recommend this book to anyone, but saw that they had a specifically gay site and thought I would tell you about it. I got it from the library but it would be well worth a purchase.  So very funny.  She was only 21 when dx'd, 31 when she got a recurrance. Still alive and I think does stand-up.  Check it out.  Pam

    You will laugh your ass of. The description of her first surgery where she is coming out of anesthesia and looks up to see her horrible partner at the time and she says, "Satan?", had me laughing so much I wet my pants.  Not such an unusual occurance for me.  Get it, then tell me what you think.  It was available at my local library but I am sure Amazon has it too.

    omg, yes. My One Night Stand with Cancer. I've read A LOT of cancer stories and in my opinion, this by far is the best bc survivor autobiography out there. I read it last winter and absolutely loved it - Tania is soo funny and frank. Hated to get to the end of the book. She is such an inspiration to me.
