Will do to boost a woman's mood.  I finally 'broke' down yesterday and had my hair colored.  I was so sick of my chemo gray hair but had never dyed my hair, ever.   Well, it was time and since yesterday was my six month end of chemo treatment date, what better day, or way, to celebrate?

I really like the outcome, close to my natural color but a more intense red, darker.  Next time I think I might go a tad lighter and more brown.

But, wow, my outlook today is so much better, who knew?!

The only thing is I keep startling myself every time I see my reflection in the mirror.  ;-)

    Good on ya, Terry!

I had always said that if I had chemo and lost my hair, I'd let it come back in natural. Well, two cancers, no chemo.

I quit dying my hair about a year ago. It's a nice salt and pepper, and I always keep it short. Most people are very complimentary about it, but now and then I consider coloring it again. But lord, how I hate the upkeep on that!!

Glad it gave you a lift! Now, go buy some new clothes to go with the new look!!

I don't have enough hair yet. It is all white!!!!! I have not know my natural color since 1990.

But you are right about color. We have paneling in our home and after spending the dreary winter in my dark living room, I decided to have it painted and nice cream color. My husband does not want to, but I have to lighten up my life now. Also painting my bedroom a nice light blue/teal color. I can't wait until it is done!

When I found out I had cancer, In the two months before I lost my hair, I cut it twice and colored it. I knew I was going to loose it, but I needed a lift. A day at the hairdressers always made me feel good. Now it is a day at the make-up counter. OOOHHHHH.... a new blush!
