THOUGHT(S) OF THE DAY!
Comments
-
So many times we need just one good thought to carry us through an awful day... so I thought we could start here something new (or has it been done before?!?!).
So, here's my thought for today, Monday, February 18, 2008:
"Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, pee on it and walk away."
-
Good Philosophy!!!
-
hahaha Love it!
-
Hey, I'll second that
-
Just sent this to all my good friends and my kids!
-
February 28, 2008:
"Life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes".
-
February 29, 2008:
"Now that food has replaced sex in my life, I can't even get into my own pants".
-
Hee Hee!!!!
-
Naughty, what a great thread and I love your thoughts of the day.
-
Loved it, made me smile. Now I will try and think of one as well, but not right now. Thanks Pearl
-
March 3, 2008:
"Marriage changes passion.
Suddenly you're in bed with a relative." -
March 4, 2008:
"How come we choose from just two people to run for
President and over fifty for Miss America ?" -
...because not that many old geezers look good in swimsuits???!
-
-
March 5, 2008:
"When I was young we used to go "skinny dipping," now I just chunky dunk."
-
Love these Lilia! Not sure how I have been missing them.

March 6, 2008:
"I signed up for an exercise class and was told to wear loose-fitting clothing. If I HAD any loose-fitting clothing, I wouldn't have signed up in the first place????!"
-
March 7, 2008, thought for the weekend:
"Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference."
-
Love these, Lilia!!
Thanks

Hello girls:
"Wouldn't you know it... Brain cells come and brain cells go, but FAT cells live forever?!"
-
I think this one says it all you go girl-

March 17, 2008"
"How come our kids in school do not read the Bible but as soon as they go to jail that is their book of preference?!"
-
May 24, 2008
On a very sad day (they are all sad) that the count has reached over 4,000 American killed soldiers and the American people has lost track of the number, I thought this would be appropriate:
"Bumper sticker of the year: "If you can read this, thank a teacher -and, since it's in English, thank a soldier."
-
More,more, more!!!!!!!

-
March 25, 2008:
"Wouldn't it be nice if whenever we messed up our life we could simply press 'Ctrl Alt Delete' and start all over?"
-
April 8, 2008:
"Why do I have to swear on the Bible in court when the Ten Commandments cannot be displayed outside?"
-
By MAXINE:
"Why don't you slip into something more comfortable... like a coma!" (Leave it to Maxine to say something like this!)
-
By Maxine:
"Never go to bed angy... stay up and plot your revenge!"
-
If you don't learn to laugh at troubles, you won't have anything to laugh at when you grow old.
-
By Maxine:
"Don't believe everything you think!"
By Maxine again:
"When a co-worker comes in a little too happy singing "good morning" to everyone and you think, "someone needs to slap the S$@! out of her"... you need to pray at work!
Have a nice weekend everyone!
