    Hello ladies

I have a question regarding facial hair and I would like to hear your experiences:

I was diagnosed with triple negative BC a year ago at the age of 40 and went through the whole treatment (surgery, chemo, rads and zoladex during chemo). I finished chemo in December. By the end of it, I had lost hair in most parts of my body. Now body hair, eyebrows, eyelashes are back to normal and I have short hair on my head. However, I noticed that I have much more hair on my body than before. On my face, in particular, it is really obvious and annoying (I have dark hair) and in areas where I never had it before. I guess it is because my oestrogen levels are very low (my period is not back yet, no idea if it will return ?). I am considering to have hair removal on my face, but I have never tried it before. Has any of you had a similar experience ? How did you handle it ?

    Best regards

Well, Marin has more of the skinny on this, but it's like newborn's baby fuzz.  There's a name for it.  Laguno or something like that.  Sounds like a California beach town. LOL  It doesn't last forever.  Some shave or wax it off and supposedly it doesn't come back.  I dunno.  I've always had peach fuzz over my entire body, so it's normal for me. Smile

ha Tina. Yes, Marin says it Lanuga or something, you are right. Lanuga Beach, the place to go for facial hair vacations.

Daphne, The hair will eventually go away on its own, but in the meantime, you can do something about it. I personally used Nair facial hair remover to get rid of mine. I think I used it twice - after that the hair didn't return.

Most women have that light hairs on their face -- I did -- and I shaved mine off -- and it never came back ---

My 10 yr old boy still has that ' lugano' sp?   type of hair on his upper back and shoulder areas  lol

Go ahead and shave it   u will be ok  - it won't grow back coarse or anything like that =)
