Hey Marin,
What is the name of that website that lets you search makeup and other products to see what toxic ingredients are in them? or to help us to avoid others, like soy??
I can't find the message or thread that had it .... I thought it was skindeep.com, but nothing comes up when I type that.
Thanks in advance,
Harley

Harley, I was at Target a couple of days ago. They sell Bert's Bee product...lotions and facial creams and washes. I do know they do not have parabens in them. I plan on trying some of their products to see if I like them..the facial creams and body lotions.
I wear mineral makeup that doesn't have parabens.

Hey Shirley,
I was at a natural vitamin store in North Myrtle Beach yesterday, and a woman there told me that Bert's Bees is NOW owned by Clorox... and they are going to start putting tons of chemicals in all their products. I don't know if that is true or not.
She really was a scary woman! She was saying that EVERYTHING I thought was safe before, well, it REALLY isn't...I'll have to go check out Bert's Bees products, in a store nearby. The LowesFood has it, but, it is very expensive there, so maybe if I look on their website, I will find a better source... one that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for a little tube of lip balm!
Thanks again! You are always so helpful, and you're so sweet!

CVS, Target, and Rite Aid have Burts Bees. It was bought by Clorex, let's just hope that they keep the ingredients the same! The products are great!

OLBinNJ,
Thanks! I'll look for it at CVS!

So sorry, Harley....I just saw this post! Here are two sites to check out:

As for Burt's Bees, I had heard that Clorox bought them, but it remains to be seen if the products will change. They are my favorites, especially the lip shimmer and the Radiance night cream, so i hope not!

Marin,
Don't mention it... Hey I saw your post earlier, and I am so glad that you are ok, and the scare is over!
I'm having some strange issues with odd pains in strange areas, so even though I have vowed not to think about it, I still do sometimes.
I hate it when you find a really good product, and then the manufacturer goes and changes it!
Thanks!
Harley
