Tenderly Leaving This Mighty Group
Comments

Tonight I wish to say goodbye with heartfelt thanks for having me on board. I will always cherish my time spent with you in conversation and I will pray that cures for breast cancer be found more quickly than the current pace affords. I particularly pray tonight for Slonedeb, Joanne, Lucky, Ter, ShepGirl, Erin, and Ferne, as well as many more, including the newly diagnosed just starting this journey. You have found a good group here: let them take your hand, support, and guide you.
I am choosing to leave because my family needs me, and I need to take time apart from breast cancer talk for a while.
So with tenderness, I say, "You are a mighty group of ladies and gents", fragile and strong at the same time. Go forth with courage and thank you all for allowing me into your group with welcome arms.
Good night and peace to each of you,
Tender -
Tender,
I was very surprised to read your post. I hope that everything is ok with your family and i do understand the need to get back into your own life. I wish you the best of luck and i hope that you will come back when you can and if you want. Thanks for all of the advice and help that you have given here. As they say, happy trails to you!

Tender, you know only too well that I will miss you very much. You've inspired me over and over with your . . . well, your TENDERNESS. Thank you, thank you for your love and your friendship to so many here. I applaud your focus and good sense in making this decision, though, and want you to know I'll be smiling warmly whenever I think of you.
God bless!

I feel like you're such a valuable part of this community I almost can't imagine it without you. I'm sure you have good and well thought-out reasons for all that you do. I hope that everything goes well for you and your family. Good luck and good health.

I understand completely but hope that you will check in from time to time and let us know you are o.k.
You will be sadly missed.

Tender,
There is now an empty chair in my support group. Everyone here has been very helpful, but you especially seem to be able to find just the right words and just the right tone. That, plus your ability to make difficult things seem simple, has helped me more than you can know.
I will miss you terribly, even though we've never met. Damn. I'm not having a good day today. It's not your fault, but it's just gotten worse.

Tender,
this is so very sad. I totally understand though, it is so hard to see more people suffer while this disease takes it's course.
I am glad you will have quality time with your family....yet.....you will be terribly missed and I would (selfish as I am) beg you to stay, always looking forward to read your posts BUT I do understand....
Please accept my gratitude for your wisdom, patience and advise.
I will look for your posts hoping you will find time to come back every so often.
God Bless

Oh Tender, I am so sad to read this. I do hope that everything is ok with your family, and I also understand the importance of needing a breast cancer break.
You have been so important to the boards, and have always been so kind and loving. You will be truly missed by all of us.
I adore you, and you know how much I do!Love and prayers, Deb

Tender,
You have been such a support to so many! I can't count the number of times I've responded to a post with, "I'm not sure about that, but Tender will be along any minute and she'll know,"!! There will always be a place set at the table for you, Tender. Do come back when you can.
We love you!
((((HUGS)))

I know, Diane, I say that very same thing, often!!!!! Sometimes, I directly PM Tender for some advice!!!
We love you, Tender! Deb -
Tender,
We will sorely miss you. I understand that you need to move on, but you have been a rock of strength for so many of us. Thank you for all you have done for us and please check in every now & then.
I wish you only the best.
-
Tender: take care of yourself and your family. I would like to say that we will all be here, one way or another, for when you are ready to come back.
Later,
-
Tender,
Best wishes to you ... as always. Your insights will be missed....but never forgotten.
-
Aww Tender,
I'm going to feel an empty space in my heart now. You've been there for me right from the start. Stop in once in awhile. Give your family all the love that they deserve.
Don't spit into the wind. "-)

Tender,
I'm very sorry that I won't be seeing you here on the boards, for now at least. Your posts have helped so many people, including me. As you can see from the outpouring above, you've touched a lot of lives. Thank you.

Tender,
I'll miss your wisdom and rationality here. But I do understand.
I took a few years off after my first diagnosis. I was consumed by the board. I needed to let the reins go to others. I know that day is coming soon for me again, but not yet.
So, yes, go to your family. Be well. Live a wonderful life. And check back in from time to time.
We'll leave the light on for you.
Anne
