    Hello Everyone,

I feel like I'm so close to understanding the real cause of cancer, I'm jumping up and down.  Otto Warburg was the scientist that discovered when a cell was deprived of 60% of it's oxygen content, that it reverted to anaerobic  fermentation in a series of cell mutations.  It does this as a basic survival mechanism.  If this is the real cause, then you study all the reasons there is reduced oxygen content available to the body's cells.  These are:

    1. Acidic Diet (Lowers body's PH and need for Oxygen)

    2. Lack of Excersise ( Lowers Oxygen)

    3. Stress and Emotions (Cause shallow breathing and Supression of

        Immune System. This lowers Oxygen).

    4. Less available Oxygen to the system because of air quaility.

    5. Carcinogens (Tax the body's immunity to the degree oxygen

levels are lowered because of increased acidity).

Any variable of above can possibly influence the organism (Us).  So why do some smokers never get cancer?  Possibly, the smoking reduces their stress and allows them to calm their negative emotions, voila'.  Why does the best athlete aquire cancer, when their diet is supreme. Perhaps the stress of their ambition has lowered their actual oxygen levels getting to the cells because stress causes acidity.  It makes so much sense when you study the populations that have little to no cancer.  They all have the things in common that lead to the body getting it's oxygen requirements.   Look at the Okinawans', the Huntzas', ancient cultures that live simply.

All the alternative cancer treatments I use for my Mom are designed to do one thing.

    1. Reduce acidity (thus increase alkalinity, which increases the

body's ability to utilize and absorb oxygen to the cells).

    2. Support the immune system and digestive systems.

    3. Aid in the removal of toxins.

    How do we reduce acidity?

    1. Diet

    2. Excersise

    3. Emotional and Spiritual Cleansing

    4. Internal Cleansing

Sounds simple doesn't it.  I think it is.  I'm no cell biologist, and would appreciate comment from anyone who has more knowledge and understanding than myself.

    Peace,

    Lisa

Well, why don't you write a book?  Or have you?

    Dear Abba,

I haven't written a book.  If I did, I would put in on the web for free.

That's why I have been posting here.  To help women, my Mom and myself.

    Peace and Hugs,

    • Lisemetoo,
    • I have found the same info in my research.  That why I believe we can make a difference in how we heal our bodies.

    Thanks for posting...

    Lisa,

I completely agree with the direction your reserach is leading you you in.  Clearly, there is widespread acceptance around the fact that cancer cells are anaerobic.

More importantly, although I am not a scientist either, the fact that people have been able to successfully cure their cancer by taking the steps you mention above is very credible proof.  Further, many of the alternative treatments revole around just that: how to change the anaerobic state of cancer cells.

You are certainly in the right direction.  Keep on researching, you may be shocked at what you find...I know that I was.

    God Bless,

    Mia

More please for those of us who are keen to learn, desperate to sruvive and willing to try almost anything.

I have had an incredibly healthy lifestyle. Always living in the country, drinking tank water, exercising, growing my own vegies, fruit and eggs, etc.  and yet I have cancer.  If asked why, I would say STRESS.   I raised two children alone, without support, running two jobs and trying to give them the best of everything.

So I'd love to hear more.

    Thank you.

I recently viewed some videos that genesis has been recommending since she came here.  I found a series of seven videos which recorded Richard Schulze conducting a class on natural healing.  His information resonated with me.  And I'm a believer in listening to my instincts.  And this was on the heels of two weeks of persistent effort on my part to read a whole lot of information about iodine from the holistic crowd.

To backtrack a little, I've been suffering relentless fatigue since radiation in 2005.  There's so many potential culprits, especially fresh out of treatments, that I hoped it would simply subside.  Then bloodwork showed my thyroid out of balance.  My internist is not helping.  Then a chiropractor suggested iodine deficiency could be a culprit.  Long story short there -- I took iodine supplement for 3 weeks and didn't feel one bit better.  And there's information all OVER the place regarding iodine.

My head was swimming.  So much conflicting information.  Who is worthy of my trust?   The information ranged from iodine is toxic starting at 1100 micrograms/day to iodine can be taken daily up to 50 milligrams.  What a huge difference!  And one author claims that preventing breast cancer could be as simple as making sure we have adequate supplies of iodine in our bodies, and existing bc is reversible up to stage zero.  Sounds like wonderful news!  But then I had to wonder, I'm 3+ years post diagnosis, and I've been educating myself about it all this time.  So why am I just now hearing about this simple solution?  Is this for real?  Or is this guy deranged?  I don't know.  But heck, iodine is cheap and if it's even remotely possible that we can reduce our risk of bc by taking in enough, I just don't understand why this topic isn't more widely discussed.  So sashiko, you might want to look up the iodine thread for more information.  Now I can't remember what all I said there, but I think there's some links to places I was reading.

And in regard to oxygen specifically, I was just recalling a segment in one of the schulze videos where he talks about hydrotherapy.  He was describing how he tells people to expose themselves to alternating hot and cold water, with particular emphasis on any area that is diseased or weakened.  This kind of hydrotherapy increases blood circulation, which leads to healing.  So, if the oxygen theory is the right one, perhaps hot and cold hydrotherapy would be of special benefit.

There is an interesting book called "The China Study" by T. Colin Campbell. Worth a read. Down to the nubs, his hypothesis, backed by quite the study over many years, implies that an animal protein diet that is above 15-20% can work as a "delivery mechanism" to the cellular level, causing cancer. He also suggests that the average american diet is around 15-18% animal protein. (dairy, meat, etc). He also suggests that some cancer are hereditary, or genetic in nature. He does a pretty good job of explaining it. Also, keep in mind, he was raised on a dairy farm, and got his Phd in I think biochemistry so that he could feed cattle and critters better, to help the starving folks overseas... See what you think, good book.
