what are u currently listening to?
-
Joss Stone, Norah Jones, Van Morrison, Mary J and Alicia Keys. I also love Maroon 5's new song, but can't remember the name of it.
At the moment, I'm streaming Michelle Branch here at work.

Michael Buble, John Denver - on a nostaglia kick.
-
i love joss stone. i'm listening to the new springsteen and santana discs. both are pretty good. i'm also listening to alot of old school r+b. it makes me feel young again.
dianne -
Country and pop in general, Daughtry specifically.
-
I am a classic rock fan...love Jethro Tull!!
-
Joss Stone's newest is in constant rotation in my car. I also like the Elliot Yamin CD in addition to "old school" R&B...
-
felicia-what is elliot yamin like?
has anyone heard the new seal? is it worth buying? -
Elliot Yamin is kinda soulful pop with a touch of R&B, if that makes sense. He really has a great voice and there are some pretty good songs on the cd (check out "As Time Moves On" on iTunes if you can). Haven't heard the new Seal yet, so I'm anxious to her that report...
-
did anyone watch the rock and roll hall of fame induction ceremony last night?
-
felicia-
do u get satellite radio by any chance? i get xm radio through my direct tv hookup. anyway, they have a channel that has r+b from the 50's to the 70's, and one for the 70's to the 80's. i usually listen to the 80's one. i love hearing stuff that i haven't heard in years, popular stuff like the whispers and harder to find stuff like david peaston and phyllis hyman.
dianne -
I do have that channel and listen to the R&B from the 80's as well - especially when I'm cleaning the house. Not a real big fan of 70s R&B - although it's what I grew up on - but I do listen to it on occassion...
Check this out: someone "broke" into my car (it was unlocked in the freaking DRIVEWAY, if you can believe that) and stole my Joss Stone CD!! Nothing else was taken (just left a cigarette butt in my cup holder - butthead!!), but I am still pretty pissed off. It could have been worse, I guess: the night before I mistakenly left both my wallet and my phone in my car...
-
felicia-that's hysterical!
-
just got the new michael mcdonald. it's pretty good. if u like the last couple of albums, you'll like this one.
-
Jack Johnson, Bach, and Casting Crowns. I have eclectic music leanings.
-
The latest Eagles CD ... Really good! Tom Petty - Highway Companion ... I listen to mine when I can get my daughters Hanna Montana cd to stop playing lol
-
I've just discovered this guy. So cute too! His name is Paolo Nutini. I love this song.

I love the new Katy Tunstall CD. She reminds me alot of Joni Mitchell only she has a bounce in her step. Her guitar playing abilities are amazing.

slh-i just watched a paolo nutini video. u are right, he's adorable.
chemosabi-i love kt tunstall. is this cd as good as the last one?
dianne -
dianne: Im loving her new CD. Didnt recognize any of the songs at first, but there are a few now that I find myself singing the rest of the day.
-
nicki-my friend saw kt at bb kings last year. she's a modern rock kinda girl, so she didn't expect to like her. she loved her!
felicia-i just ordered the new seal from amazon. i'll let u know how it is.
dianne -
the new seal cd isn't very good. it has a dance beat going through most of it that i like, but the songs are kind of boring. i'm disappointed.
dianne -
Thanks for saving me some $, Dianne
-
Dianne,
If you like Paolo Nutini, listen to this one:

thanks sally!
-
has anybody heard the new herbie hancock? is it worth buying?
-
i don't usually listen to country music but i love the new cd by shelby lynne. i guess she would be considered new country. anyway this cd is a tribute to dusty springfied who was a blue eyed soul singer in the sixties. she sang a bunch of burt bacharach songs.
-
they are not my favorites, but a friend of mine from when i was in the music business, says that the counting crows being relased tomorrow is amazing.
dianne -
Maroon 5 on the radio.
I pretty much listen to anything that will allow me to keep up w/ my 12 1/2 year old daughter.
In addition to that, I still love the 80s music and anything else but rap or heavy metal...
-
drw/Dianne: my favorite song right now is "Bleeding love" by Leona Lewis (she sounds like Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkson...); the rest of her CD is okay.
Marie Digby's CD is awesome, like it alot:
