There is a lot of information on this website. Browse the Home Page and click on a topic. Reading some the conversations and following some of the threads, especially this forum may help for anything specific you may need help with. Good luck to your family and your mom.

It's wonderful that you're doing this to help your friend's mother, and that you found this site.  Here's another good site that you may not know about:

    www.y-me.org/coping

Scroll down to the section on "supporting a loved one."  You'll find some (free!) material that's very much on target.

    Salud, y buena suerte.

    Linda

Hi, I liked Dr. Susan Love's Breast Book, it will tell you what is going on.  Just for you and other loved ones right now.  A little much for the patient.

She has excellent chances of living out her life.  About 90% of us survive and grow old.  This is hard to believe, but with today's treatments it is true.

I am 9 years post treatment and 72.  So if this lady wants to post to me directly, you can PM me by clicking under my name/pix.

    Gentle hugs, Shirlann
