Ladies I need your prayers

I have been having pain under both arms and on my right side chest wall. I have always been able to tell when my cancer was growing and when it was not. (I know this is a little weird but I could even tell you if the chemo was not working.) My doctor's know and now believe me after all my recurrences.
I have a PET scan that was already scheduled Thursday. I'll get the results next Thursday. I just want to know why it decide to start up again? Happy Birthday to me...My birthday is tomorrow.
Thanks for all your support,
Flalady

Happy Birthday To You, Flalady! I'll be looking forward to saying the same thing, same place, next year.
You, like me, are blessed with a body and mind which can tell when there is something different from normal, an early problem, long before modern science can tell. I believe there are people whose brain sense such body misfunction. The human brain is mysterious, more complicated than the largest computer, and probably evolving and capable of insights whose benefit has yet to be tapped by medicine. Hence one often hear's about prodromal symptoms prior to ovarian cancer which then proved out, and I believe even with breast cancer (feelings of deep cold, extreme fatigue, feeling ill long prior to bc diagnosis).
Why now you ask? Perhaps to warn you to think what next might your plan be? While you posted on a holistic thread, should your PET scan reveal a source of pain, then you might consider the newer small molecule protein inhibitors. It soothes the mind, especially at times of anniversary, to have a game plan, to be prepared. You sleep better.
On the other hand, perhaps your pain is a sign of musculoskeletal pain due to fatigue, overwork, past treatment etc, and is crying for physical therapy and release. As good as our brain is, mine gives no more than just a "something's up", please attend to this. Once or twice it got specific though.
Remember Ron Stewart's "The Outer Zone". Well, I'm a medical outer zone patient. Too bad such insight isn't given more credence in the medical profession. It would cut down on medical and financial outlay tremendously. I do believe the body and the brain are incessantly feeding back to one another.
I will pray for you Flalady, that all be well. And I will trust your Birthday instincts that you need to re-adjust in some manner to keep going forward. You've always trusted your body. It's a wonderful gift you have. Don't loose faith in it now.
Much benign thought going your way, as well as peaceful thoughts,
Tender -
Thanks Tender, As always your the best. I might consider Gleevic or Dasatinib if I can take it at home clinic. They wanted me to go to MD Anderson last time this was discussed. Yuk! Yuk! Please don't make me go back there.

Flalady,
you say
"have been having pain under both arms and on my right side chest wall. I have always been able to tell when my cancer was growing and when it was not."
If pain is bilateral .. I would say you did something, like lifted, pushed would be highly unlikely to have mets under both arms at the same time..
Did you get rads to your right side ? I thought you did maybe thats it creeping up on you.
Watch the movie 'Secret' and stop telling yourself that you have another recurrence ok
?
But just in case I am sending you some 'luck' vibes from Orlando !

trigeek,
My pain is pin point pains deep up in my arm pits. My chest wall is where I had a additional surgery to remove more positive nodes last summer. My last PET said these areas where "questionable".
PLEASEEE NOT AGAIN!

Dearest Flalady,
What are you waiting for??? You can be doing something right now. Faith is ACTION. Have you read the testimonies from Lisa's latest thread?? You could start tomorrow if you ordered Schulze's 30 day incurables program today!! All these well wishes are lovely but you need to start doing more than you have done. No, it is NOT easy but you CAN do it!! I am NOT trying to be unkind but you need to be agressive with this situation. Have those doctors scratching their heads that things are improving for you and they have no clue why. It is soo empowering to be proactive in your healing and to not just sit around waiting for test results. I don't know you but I care about you.
God bless,
Genesis

Glad they are done. Now kickback some, enjoy a night off of routine. Order out, or eat some healthy restaurant fish, and watch the fab Florida sun go down. Read a new book, place music you like. See a movie or two. Take a walk on the beach. Get extra sleep: it's great a boosting our natural killer cells which destroy stray bad cells. Talk with a friend who gets it.
So much is out there. Just a choice on how you wish to pass the time. I'd probably be heading to the surf, with a windbreaker and a chair, a cup of green tea, a new book, digging my toes into the delightful sand which I never can get enough of. And listening to the surf just crash far away, reminding us time waits for no man. So don't chase today, just enjoy the moment.
Ah, I can see you now.

Dear Genesis,
I have done nothing but research for almost 3 years. I have read over 40 books on cancer treatments both mainstream and natural, met survivors and been to the two of the Top Ten cancer centers in the country. There is very little you can tell me about, that I have not already read about and researched. And I can tell you that NO one treatment is the "fix all" for all of us.
I have been proactive in my care from day one. I let you find one lady who completed three surgeries, 26 chemos in 16 mths, rads and severe neuropathy. And went to work and lived a full life every day of treatment. You do not have this kind of treatment response without being proactive in your care. My cancer is like NO other on this site. (triple neg that rarely stays localized) I had 5 to 6 recurrences with 53 nodes positive for cancer. My cancer grows so fast I can feel it growing. The only reason that I did not die in the three months they gave me, was that I was doing my natural protocol at the same time and the chemo gave me no side effects.
I have been using natural protocols, GOD through my research has shown me to use. I have NOT been lead to use Dr Schulze's. And his is not that difference than many other just like him out there. A lot of what I do is very similar to his. I'm glad other's are find healing through his works. But, you can fine healing through many different healing programs. Many have a lot longer of history than Dr Schulze. He learned from the people before him.
As for waiting...I'm not just waiting for my oncologist who is a Christian and a beautiful blessed man who does want what's best for me. (God made sure I was being taken care of by this very special man.) Is he perfect no, but none of us are. But, I'm also waiting to hear from GOD, to show me my next step of this journey. I have learned to make no move until HE says so. THIS is empowering to ME.
Living in hope,
Flalady -
Well said Flalady, I too have spent 4 years researching cancer, since my mom's dx with cancer. I have read theory after theory and I have to say you are right there is no one way for everyone. What you chose and what works for you may not work for others. To tell people that my way is the way for all, is being delusional. God is the captain of my life and my mom's life. We just know when something is right, and we have had nothing but success especially in her mets treatment. We have combined both traditional and complimentary means for her. But I will not be seduced by money mongerers. Everyone is out to make a buck I don't care how good they advertise it. You have to find your own place, it may take a few attempts to get it right but it is all trial and error. We just pray hard for few errors. With what we have done for mom in combining the 2, and she is not on any dr this or dr that theory....it is good old trader joe's organic produce and healthy eating and exercise. My mom has enough to contend with in the mets, without adding more stress by listening to this and that and getting conflicting views on what works and what doesn't. We keep it simple. And it works for her. She has had a dramatic response to treatment, and personally I thank God for the doctors he has put in my mom's path who have supported her through this and got her to where she is today. Doctor was so astounded by her PET results she fell back in her chair in awe. So, it is working and I am thankful to the Lord for making it happen.
We keep fighting and we do what we do with faith,
Michelle

Hi,
And may I add birthday greetings and although not a "believer" I still pray to the universe and shall do so for you. I know how much it helps to have others thinking of you and pulling for you, when you are scared and alone.
I keep asking older survivors, "does the fear ever go" it would seem not!!!
I am on my 13 th week of belly pain. Have seen 7 docs. 3 of them specialists, and one gp 6 times.!! Loads of antibiotics, tests, screens etc and still no correct diagnosis!! I am getting pretty depressed too.
This week I am to see a diagnostic herbalist, who charges like a wounded bull, but hey she just may come up with the correct diagnosis and then I can get some treatment and hopefully get on with my life.
It is all so very scary and lonely and you don't want to worry your family, because they really can't do a thing.
I do so hope it all works out well for you.
Sincerely,
Sashiko

Thinking of you FlaLady. Hope you're staying focused, in the moment, not moving too far ahead in your mind.
Post this weekend should you wish. Otherwise hope you're enjoying some Florida warmth.
Warmly,
Tender -
Dear Flalady,
Again, I feel I must reiterate, faith IS action. You have done alot of research and you state Schulze is very similar to others. Other Natural Healers?? He gives all the credit to his teachers, namely, Dr. Christopher and Dr. Jensen, etc. The thing that he realized is that he needed to crank everything up to a new level for today's lifestyle. This does NOT match with most natural healers we have come across today who are still treating people like they did 50 or 60 years ago. He is not liked in his profession because of the criticism he heaps on these people. So if you do similar to Schulze at the extreme level I am to understand that you are doing on a weekly basis the cold/sheet treatment and the high enemas, and on a daily basis the organ detoxifications, hydrotherapy, castor oil packs and exercise regimen?? I know you state that your cancer is like no one else's on this site. Perhaps the reason you don't like Schulze is because doesn't agree with that concept. Cancer is cancer and no matter where it is in your body it can be treated the same way. (I know I'm going to hear it for that statement!!) Schulze has proven this statement to be true over and over. We have to agree with Schulze that if one is not getting better one needs to crank up the intensity of the treatment. This was the intent of my previous response to you. NO unkindness was meant to you. We truly wish you the best. If I know someone is asleep in a burning building am I going whisper in their ear that they need to wake up or am I going to grab them by the shirt collar and shout we have to get out of here!!
Our prayers are with you,
God bless you, Dear Flalady,
Genesis
