    Howdy all you BC Gals!! I would love to have a get together in Austin,TX for the weekend of Friday, 4-18-08 to Sunday 4-20-08. Austin is a great town and there is lots to do.  If anyone is interested please respond. 

    I am a 3 1/2 year survivor and I go to the Chat room often.  We can go shopping,eating and have a wonderful time etc.  Come on, and make plans to be a Pink Flamingo for a cure in Austin!

    Hi Linda,

    I would love to have a party in Austin.  I can't type fast enough for the chat room because my fingers get all flustered!  But I LOVE to shop in Austin, eat at Kirby Lane and check out the treats at Quacks.  We can surely paint the town pink.  PM me.  ~S

    Hey Glad you are so fast in posting.  My dh is going fishing that weekend and I thought , "heck Why not have a fun get together."  I have 2 sofas, if anyone needs to stay stay at my home.  I can also do research for hotels in the south austin area.  The more the merrier.

    This is going to be a weekend of fellowship and fun.

    Friday evening welcome to my home wine and appretizers

    Saturday meet for breakfast at LaMadelines a cute french bistro

    Saturday going to an old texas town to shop, eat and be merry!

    Saturday evening a good old Texas BBQ at my home and more fun

    Sunday meet for breakfast and those who want to visit state capital or downtown austin can before taking off to go back home.

    I have circled the dates on my calendar.  I really am looking forward to meeting y'all!  I'm already pulling out the map and figuring out surface streets to avoid 183 and I35.  My friend is loaning me her GPS so MAYBE I won't get lost. Laughing  I'll send a PM with my contact info.

    I just tried to call you at 954-434-7992 but I guess your dh answerede the phone.  I told him to tell you Jewel called.  Anywas I can't do the get together in April and I plan on doing it in the fall either Sept or Oct.  If you have a perferance just let me know.  I would love to have you here.  I am sorry you couldn't make it to Miss but perhaps your loss is my gain LOL.

    To all,

    I am sorry to announce but this get together will have to be cancelled.  I do however plan on having one in the fall in austin tx.  I do hope those who where planning on comming in a few weeks will be able to make it in the fall.  If you have an idea on a weekend please feel free to email me.
