    Just wondering how many others there are in this category after doing whatever they decided to do or not do for treatment?

    Hello AlaskaAngel,I am her2+3 and have been NED since diagnosed may 06,aged 44,infilrating lobular breast cancer,2 1/2 cm lump,had WLE,there was no spread to lymph nodes,had 6 x fec chemo,15 rads ,now on tamoxifen but could not have herceptin as risk to heart too great as per muga scan test on heart function,so my 18 sessions of herceptin did not go ahead,so far so good ,am doing fine.....onwards and upwards,best wishes....Pepper.

    AlaskaAngel,

    I am er/pr+, her2+. Tumors were idc and dcis, 0.2 and 0.3 mm.  Had mastec., no rads, no chemo, no herceptin. Am on Femara for at least next 3 years. Have been on for 2.  So far, so good.  Had second mammo since surgery, and am waiting for results.  As of Jan. was NED.  So trying to be a bet calmer than I usually am.  Not much luck in that.....

    Aug 2004 my mom had LB, DCIS with .5mm IDC, Stage 1, Grade 1, Her2+++, mastectomy, no nodes involved, clear margins, 4 rounds A/C chemo, no herceptin.  Sept 07 dx stage 4 mets to bones and liver.

    I was dx'd with idc in October 2001 and was highly HER+++ and ER-/PR-.  My turmor was 2.4 cm and I had no positive nodes which shocked my surgeon so much she had my nodes tested 3 different times.  When I was dx'd you were only offered herceptin if you were Stage 4 so all I had was 4 rounds of AC. 

    So far, no recurrence.  I did develop heart problems from the Adriamycin but I'm NED going on 7 years.
