    Hello! MY company is looking to participate in a Breast Cancer Walk preferablly in the Long Island Suffolk County area of NY.  Are there any coming up and how do I go about getting these materials?

    the making strides for breast cancer walk is at jones beach every october, but the kickoff breakfast is in august.

    Prior to that is the AVON walk in they city-- that's in May.

    Then there are relay for life events all throughout suffolk from june on.

    anyone ever do avon walk ?  beth are u going to do it or have u ever  i am thinking of it - i know it is a 2 day event and u sleep over at a retreat

    Both the Avon Walk and Susan G Komen walks are an incredible experience.  I tell people it will change your life when you participate in them.  I do the Susan G Komen walk each year.  I know people are hesitant about doing them because of the fundraising, but the fundraising is easy.  I tell people all the time to get some merchandise and sell it.  You can go to www.fundraisingforacause.com and get merchandise. Sell it at work, to friends, in front of stores, at garage sales.  This is an easy way to raise funds fast.
