Movie, a must see!

Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson up the action ante for this adventure film. It is a action-comedy....Fools Gold.
I went to see it last night and I laughed like I haven't laughed in a long time. It was good for the soul. Plus it was talking about a guy named Sebastian, that is my Grandsons name and I don't here that name often, so that was neat.
And let me tell you, MoJo or not, Matthew McConaughey was "HOT" worth seeing if you were deaf.....LOL
-
Always looking for a good comedy, thanks!

-
I saw it Valentine's Day and even though it got bad reviews, I thought it was cute. Have certainly seen movies that were a lot worse. I did laugh and when Matthew is in it, how can you complain?
-
Meeeeeeeeooooooooow! I'm wondering if I can print that picture of Matthew out in poster size? LOL! We don't get to see movies all that often, but I think I'm going to have to see this one.
-
So, girls, who is your favorite movie stud-muffin? It'd be funny to read everyone's preferences and who they just cannot stand. I love that we don't all want the SAME MAN.
So, I think George Clooney is the cat's pajamas. Swooooooon. Cannot stand Brad Pitt, looks trashy to me. Oh, well, I don't have to worry as he's not MINE. LOL
C'mon, now. Spill your guts.

We LOVED this movie (Fool's Gold). I do not understand all the bad movie critics reviews. It was fun and filled with adventure. It really has something for everyone, even my college age boys loved it!!
As for who I can't stand, it would have to be Burt Reynolds. I think Brad Pitt is adorable (sort of in the way I think my son's friends are adorable!-LOL!) George Clooney is okay. I used to have a thing for Aidan Quinn (I love his eyes!).
One thing I did notice about this movie---Kate Hudson is REALLY flat chested! I had never noticed that before! -
Anne, flat isn't the word for it. But I always noticed that way before that movie. I love George too, but not till (How art thou (sp) And I don't know why. But my pick will still always be Mathew.
-
I used to really like George until I saw a regular picture of him and boy, is he skinny!! He has a good tailor but out of suits, jackets, the guy is bony!
-
Dotti, LOL that is funny. My EX was bony....good in the sack tho.
-
Funny I would think of that
-
Johnny Depp--in a heartbeat!!!
-
I usually wait til they come out on video .... unless its a kids movie, I don't get a chance!!
-
Rocktober- You must see this on as big a screen as possible. Trust me......Try to go with some girlfriends!
-
junie--you are so right about Depp. I kinda like Viaggo Morgensen--he was so cute in Hidalgo.
I've always had a "thing" for Richard Gere. Can watch his movies over and over.
Mmmmm.....seems obvious to me: I like the "bad" ones. Sooo, how come I married a good guy?
grace -
Grace, I like the bad boys too....but have a good man. Ummmm
-
I saw "October Sky" last week-end and it was a wonderful film. My daughter said that she'd seen it in school and enjoyed it as well.

I have been wanting to see that one too. Also what is the name of the new one coming out about a woman that got mixed up for a job as an assistant or something like that.
All I remember is that it was funny and she eats the cucumbers off of her eyes while having a facial....
-
I liked Juno...has anyone seen that one?
-
Loved Juno it was so cute!
-
I saw Fool's Gold to and really enjoyed it....not sure why the critics rated it the way they did...
I also saw No Country for Old Men, CANT believe that got nominated for ANYTHING.....not a movie I would send anyone to see.....
As for the fav guy actors: one question MaryL, do I have to pick just one?????
