Radiant Impressions vs. ContourMed Custom Prosthesis

My fitter, who does the Radiant Impressions, was at first very excited about this.  However, she has since told me that the company has all kinds of problems with the machine (probably too high tech for most people to use easily), and that the old fashion plaster casting of RI seems to work better at this point.  I ordered a RI the end of last year just because my insurance would pay for it without any cost to me, since I'd already met my out of pocket for 2007.  

Of course she is also unhappy because RI has moved their factory to another state and the new people working at the new facility just don't seem to do as excellent a job as the craftspeople at the old factory.   She has sent mine back twice now because it was the wrong color or didn't meet her standards.  She told me she never had this kind of problems at the old factory.  

I'm not stressing about it because I know that eventually i'll get something.  Right at this moment, I usually go flat chested.  I only ordered the RI because if I wanted one then 2007 was the year to get it, without any additional cost to me.
