Wishes for Slonedeb

Leighann..... thanks so much for the update. It's easier to pray specific prayers -- knowing her current situation.
I'll pray for insight and brilliance from her onc.... that there be a glimmer of vitality in continuing to keep things at bay.
Please relay our continued love and concern to your mom, L. We love her in chat, and she always brought a strong faith to share, even when at her wits end with the system.

love to each of you as the hours pass..... hold each other, tell stories, share memories of the happy times, remember the silliness that makes your family unique

good morning my dear deb of slone..... prayers, blessings, wishes on your behalf as i start the day.
may you have a day filled with butterflies, cotton candy, tulips, and the occaisional balloon
know we are caring from a distance
-
debofslone: today I picture you in a castle, with thick walls and someone playing a banjo (it's a castle in Kentucky.) everyone in the castle is there by special invitation -- bringing you warmth, love, care and concern.... and as much hilarity as you can stand.
prayers from the beach, where we started our day a few minutes ago with a brilliant rainbow! you know there are never rainbows unless there's been a storm. so true.
today's my last day @ the beach, must head north tomorrow.... not sure i'll have a chance to connect to the web for a while -- spotty at best, know that i hold you up in prayer, even when i'm away from the web. all of my best to you and your family as the minutes pass.
-
Comforting thoughts for you tonight
May the stars be providing you intrigue and light
Daughter nearby, and dear family too
Holding you close as close families so do.
Soft wind outside blowing gentle songs your way
Carrying you our wishes for tomorrow's peaceful day.
Tender -
tender, that was beautiful!
debofslone (it just makes me think that you're royalty when i put it that way.)
it's valentine's day, and a heart full of love for you today. say loving things, hear loving things, wrap your love around each other.
must say goodby to my beach and the sand and the sun..... so hard to do, yet i know there are exciting chapters ahead after i leave this place -- must be kinda like heading to heaven. so hard to think of leaving the place that we've loved, but we've been promised a room is ready in heaven.
"I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me."
love you, friend
-
deb: i've got my computer re-connected, so i can send my prayers to heaven thru this cyber channel and into your heart at the same time. isn't this technology incredible?
what did God do before we could type prayers into a website? i'm easily amused.
this early morning i was able to watch the sun pop thru the clouds about 30,000 feet and it was pretty spectacular. i think that you should sign up for the committee that's in charge of the sunrise every morning, deb. paint the colors with amazing strength and vitality and we'll think of you each day as we begin all over again.
love to you today. i'll ask for the blessings you're seeking to be given to you and your family
-
Continuing to think of you Deb, hoping you're pain free, and able to converse with your family as well as feel their reliable sustinance. Such is the gift we give those who love us.
May your day be peaceful.
Tender -
(((((((((((((((((deb))))))))))))))))))))
gentle hugs from Houston today. just want you to know that i think of you every day and wish you wholeness, for your body and your heart. know that i hold your children up, your doctors and friends as they process the journey you are now facing. continue to be a gentle guide to us. your faith was always so very obvious in the chat room, no matter the circumstances that you faced.
my heart is heavy that you have to go thru this. know that it's ok to feel whatever emotions you are feeling. rant and rave it you want. cry. sob. laugh hysterically. or just ponder the whole thing. i know the God that you trust is big enough to shoulder all of your feelings.
-
Hey Sweety,
JR. Has made us proud

good morning.... headed back to the airport -- will be winging my way thru the clouds this morning...... will ask the angels to bring some kindness to your day, with lots of support.
-
Thinking of you, Deb, as well as your family.
Suredly knowing you are surrounded with love both at home and here at bc.org.
May these days be simple: nutritious food, warm light, soft voices and recollections.
Peace to you, Sister.
Tender -
I am sending you a hug and prayers for peace.
Deb C
-
tender: what a brilliant thing to say..... good words for all of us
deb C: so good to see your smiling face here -- how goes your watch?
slonedeb: you've attracted the very best of folks to hold you up in prayer.
i am now safely back home in frigid OH from the heat of FL -- what a wake up call!! i hold you close in my heart
did i tell you the amazing thing that happened over the weekend? i have gotten an invitation to participate in the White House Easter Egg Roll! seriously. now we have to see if i pass the scrutiny of the committee.
pretty awesome to be on the list for an event that's taken place since 1878!! will keep you posted. keep your fingers crossed.
-
slonedeb: it's snowing like crazy this morning -- my first morning back to reality, from the beach...... what's that all about. i always thought our God had a sense of humor, here's more evidence.
nourish yourself, as suggested by Tender, in whatever way you are able today.
if there's anyway you can needle your kids into giving us an update that would be so nice
know i start my day thinking of you!
-
Hi Sweety,
hoping and praying Your stronger !

sending you peace and calm for a night of sound sleep, and an ever constant sense of direction thru the hours at hand.
deb, know that we are praying for you. praying for your family. praying for your medical team.
your faith on chat was such an example for all who popped in and out. i will treasure our conversations of the past. know how much you were an example for me -- when i was first diagnosed. you helped me to gain a sense of calm when i was so lost and i will always be grateful for that.
-
it's a new day and i'm thinking of you, asking for sunbeams of hope to filter into your room. trust and mercy for today slonedeb....
love to you and yours
-
May this find you warm, wrapped in love, nourished by gentleness of words, light, food and drink.
We think of you much and are never far away from you.
Tender -
