If your primary concern is the funeral, go talk to a good funeral home and see what they have to offer re: pre paid plans.

If your medical bills are the problem: if no one in your family has signed that they will be responsible, and you have no estate, the bills will have to be written off.  (I think)

If your morgage is the problem, I do belive that included in that morgage is insurance to pay it off, or it should be, if you have small children or a spouse living there.  You can call the bank and ck it out.

If you just want to "leave something" for the family---forget about it.  Take pictures and write notes of love, live each day with them and create memories!!  These will be more precious than all the money in the world.  My kids gave us a book to fill out with all sorts of questions about our childhood, family, memories, politics, favorites of food, music, first dates, you name it.

I had given one to my Mom and treasure the responses she wrote in more than I can tell you.,

    Roxy,

God bless you.   It sounds like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders, and yet you seem to be handling everything so well considering it all.  Do you belong to a church, or can you find a local support group that you can join?  I would think that there are a lot of organizations that can help you with your financial needs great and small.  You just have to look around.   I have two small kids, and when I was going through chemo, someone gave me a flyer from the Hearts and Hands Sertoma Club, a group of volunteers that will help patients with rides, run errands for them, cook, etc.  Well, I never called them, but I hope you find someone like that to help you.

I hope you are surrounded by people that love you, and that we are all still chatting about life 20 years from now!

    Bobbie
