    I live in Orange County, South of L.A.  Does any one know where can I find store with good selections of bras for non-construction ladies?  Thank you!

    Hi Betty,

    I went to Nordstroms to get my mastectomy bras and my prosthesis. You can call and make an appointment with a fitter.Hope this helps.

    Betty,  I went to this shop called "Expressions Appearance Center".  Its really a small shop right inside a medical building in the City of Fullerton.  (In Orange County)  I know your in LA...but that's not to far if you decide to check it out.  (They deal with cancer patients all day long.)

    I have bought everything there and the two women that work in there deal with breast cancer women daily and are VERY good at what they do.  Plus it's so private in there.  No one standing around starring at you.  The lady that owns the shop is so nice.  She will take you in the back and fit you.  It only took her a few minutes with me and believe me...I had some issues to deal with and she made it work out GREAT for me. :)

    I've NEVER had a bra fit so good in my entire life, let alone the great choices of prothesis's she has to choose from.  She has everything there.  In fact...not only bra's and prosthesis...but caps, hats, camisoles, and you name it.  Personally due to the way i'm built...I needed a weighed prosthesis...because the light ones kept creeping up.  But what she gave me is weighed and STAYS in place.  Actually feels very comfortable...the prosthesis itself fits INSIDE a little pouch in the bra.  The bra's are made for it.  I am very pleased with this place.  I bought my wig there too and it held up nicely.  If you can't find something closer to you that works I will give you the phone number and you can ask for Kathy.  She will have you all fixed on in no time.  :) Good luck with everything.
