Water Weight gain

Has anyone experienced this after treatment. I tried two AI's, but that was over a month ago. Cant figure out why I am bloated so much. Dont eat a lot of salt. I exercise, etc.
Is there a safe natural diuretic? Has anyone else experienced this?

Being on arimidex, I use to feel like I was holding too much water. What I did was to up my water intake, it helps to get rid of excess water. And upped my potassium intake which supposedly regulates water in our body. Added more green tea that also seems to be working to get rid of water. I don't feel as bloated as I once did, or it's having a placebo effect which is a good thing also.

The water weight gain ... ah yes. I was tempted to get meds to help, but I prefer to keep meds to a minimum and use diet to manage the problem.
I use Karkade tea...drink it every day. It's effective.
Like Rosemary, I drink more water.
My doctor mentioned that the magnesium supplement that I take can give bloat problems. She also agreed that the tea was a good remedy.
Best wishes to all...as always

Tea is what I was going to recommend. I believe it acts like a diuretic.

I am wondering if it is the mangesium citrate. It sure tastes salty. I would only utilize natural options. I already drink a ton of water but not the tea. Guess I will have to check it out.

Hi
Can anyone tell me where I can find the Karkade tea? I really feel bloated and would love to try it. Thanks and Hugs!!!

Bliz, did you do chemo? How long have you been off? I finished chemo in September. And read that the edema can stick around for a good 16 weeks. And like everyone says, drink the water. Get your system working to move the fluid efficiently. Exercise is good and that includes exercising your lymphatic system.

No, I didnt have chemo. I am not sure what is going on with my body. I am drinking a little green tea, hoping that it will speed my metabolism up or get rid of the water weight, or whatever the heck is going on. Seems like I am not eating that much. Rather depressing. I exercise regularly.
