awesome biography!  Kelly Corrigan tells it like it is.  She battled breast cancer while her dad battled kidney cancer.  She's a mom of two little girls.  It's a really inspiring book.  Kelly is close to my age so she tells a lot of funny stories that those of us who were in high school in the early to mid eighties can relate too.  It made me laugh and cry.

    enjoy,

    1. I've been a fan of Kelly's since I was diagnosed in 2006 and found her "Circus of Cancer" website.  She writes wonderful essays about life, motherhood, and cancer survival which may be found at http://www.kellycorrigan.com.  I'm a rabid reader, and often put a book away after ten pages if I'm not entranced.  Kelly had me on page one with "The Middle Place."  Ms. Corrigan is the writer I wish I had the talent to become.  This book had me laughing out loud and shedding tears.  Check out the positive review (which does a far better job describing Kelly's memoir than I could) from the San Francisco Chronicle from 2/3/08:

    Congratulations, Kelly.  Well done!
