Haha....I used to LOVE the Alice Cooper band back in the 70's....today Alice (lead singer) is 60 years old, and I got feeling nostalgic for the care free high school days when "School's Out" and "No More Mr. Nice Guy" were playing on the radio.  Ooh, we thought this music was decadent!  How funny!

Anyone else have a musical guilty pleasure?

I'm a die-hard Prince fan. He's a cutie, but it's the music I love. Plus he's the only guy I know who can play a harp, lol...

I love Alice!  I actually went to see him last Fall.  He put on a great show and still has a great voice.  I can't believe he is 60.  I know if my parents had listened to some of his lyrics they would have thought I was worshiping satan.  But he is so tame compared to what we have today.

Alice Cooper - wow. I do like that song "no more mr nice guy". ha.

Felicia - I LOVE Prince. My first concert was in 1984; the Purple Rain tour - I was in high school (my momwouldn't let me go to concerts before that - so sheltered Wink). Sheila E opened up. It was a great show. He was magnificent on the Super Bowl halftime show last year. Wow. mmmmm

Ann - I love the fact that you went to see Alice Cooper last year! that is great.

One of my favorite guilty pleasures: Crazy B*tch by Buck Cherry - the lyrics are so crude and offensive, it's almost embarrassing to listen to -  but such a catchy tune.

I remember back in the 70's the town where we went to concerts banned Alice from playing there unless he left his snakes and spiders home. He eventually came and he had dancers as the spiders but I think he still had the snake. It was a fantastic concert. It was the Welcome to My Nightmare tour. Just fabulous. I have to say he is looking older than his years these days. They all are. I swear Tom Petty was having a hard time walking during the 1/2 time show yesterday.

I remember how horrified I was in the early 70s when I found out Alice Cooper was a guy and not like "Alice" in Wonderland-- once Paul McCartney turned 64-- like in the song nothing else surprises me.

I went to a "Fall Out Boy" concert last October.  My kids were both horrified but I had a great time.  My son went to grammar and high school with the lead singer, Patrick Stump, so I wanted to see him in concert.  I'm just glad I didn't get a main floor seat as that was a mosh pit!

It may surprise some to know that Alice Cooper is actually a very intelligent man!  He had some great tunes.

I LOVED Alice Cooper in high school.  I remember School's Out and I'm Eighteen my junior/senior year of high school.  Felt like he was talkin' to me!!  Hearing it now takes me right back to my first love, his van, Taco Bell with the gang and beach parties!

Ha! Ha!  I always though the lyrics of I'm Eighteen were "I'm eighteen, and I CAN DO what I want".  Funny - I gave my daughter the CD when she graduated high school telling her it was my favorite at her age and after listening to it realized the lyrics were "Im eighteen and I DON'T KNOW what I want".  Boy, was I full of it when I was eighteen!Cool
