TIME TO CIRCLE THE WAGONS GIRLS

I was wondering how long it would take.

Hello,
I don't post here often but still read. As far as removing the thread,I hope not as it is where I met some nice people at a time when I needed support. It is similiar to reviewing a special memory or visiting a favorite spot.
Do I agree with everything said? No,who does on any site? However,I credit people who have kept the Circle going when others such as I,needed a break. Thank you,Margo, for taking us back to when the Circle began. For a few moments,I separated all feelings and emotions and remembered how it felt to be there at the beginning of this wagon circle journey.
It was everyone who came together and made it fun. When looking at over 900 pages-this speaks for itself.
Thanks for the walk back through some really special times. I have been reading some neat posts and saw some lovely photos! Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder is what I have heard. I chose to read some meaningful things and reflected on some neat friends that are now just memories.
Thanks for your indulgence,
Iris -
Hi Brenda Naniam,
I've been looking all over for you. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as you have your bone scans tomorrow. I know how much physical pain you've been in for quite some time now. We'll be with you tomorrow.
Prayers for Cy, Slonedeb and their families that they be comforted and feel our love for them.

Forgetmenot. Very cut and dried. Some of us, myself included, still need this place. I haven't moved beyond, even though I post here, because it was so warm and welcoming to me and was a nice distraction to the overwhelming journey we all are on. I'm still in my first year so it will probably be some time before I actually move beyond. I want to warmly welcome you here. Most days it's not like this and is a nice place to be. I hope others take heed of what you posted. Very nicely said.
-
Iris-angel: So nice to see you post here and what lovely words you bring.
-
I don't post here anymore just for this exact reason. Then there
was a call for all of us to come together just like when the circle was started to put those that needed our thoughts and prayers in the center to offer support to each other for the days ahead. It felt good for a minute to see everyone here joining hearts and minds. I dared
to think that maybe , just maybe the sobering news lately may put
some peoples petty actions in perspective, Maybe just maybe they would step back and take a good look and ask themselves what does it really mean in the big picture.
I was here earlier this morning to post prayers for the sisters that are fighting for their lives. I saw Charlene's objection to being deleted by the community before she edited. I left and posted my prayers elsewhere.
Blue this is exactly how I felt this morning just like the fox:
A scorpion was walking along the bank of a river, wondering how to get to the other side. Suddenly, he saw a fox. He asked the fox to take him on his back across the river.
The fox said, "No. If I do that, you'll sting me, and I'll drown."
The scorpion assured him, "If I do that, we'll both drown."
The fox thought about it and finally agreed. So the scorpion climbed up on his back, and the fox began to swim. But halfway across the river, the scorpion stung him. As poison filled his veins, the fox turned to the scorpion and said, "Why did you do that? Now you'll drown, too."
"I couldn't help it," said the scorpion. "It's my nature."
I'm done.

I came here for the very same thing this morning .. to make a supportive post for CY, which I did, and it was immediately removed. Imagine how I felt.
-
Gina, I don't get it. How long it would take for what? I don't understand. Could someone explain?
As always, Laura

Melissa and Tami, There are a lot of wonderful memories here- but they have all been sullied and made a mockery of.
Please either lock this thread from the beginning to this September, when things were still good, or remove it entirely. The Dreamers thread is a beautiful place filled with wonderful, loving women. Hopefully it won't become infested after this one is no longer accessible.
-
Laura, this has taken on a pattern. I have come to expect the posts we see at times like these. They always follow in exactly the same way. I was remarking on the perfect timing of everything. Marvelling at how long it would take for the cycle to complete itself.
And it did.

The history of the problems in the Circle go way way back, well before September. We all remember the people who got upset and deleted all their posts in this thread. Many other things have happened. Just like in life, nothing and no place is perfect. There is no mockery here. Just people trying to be supported and give support.
-
I don't remember the circle having the problems in Sept that it is having now. At least everyone was still tolerant and respectful. That has definitely changed.
When I came on this morning and started reading it was about a post and a picture being removed here and apparently some other picture too from reading the post here.
Honestly, sometimes it is like seeing my granddaughter go "look at me, look at me". It is the "me" mentality - not "us", JMHO, that is the problem.
Brenda
-
Brenda, it is Mendacity.
Mendacity has brought down this thread.
It has been dishonored and sullied and mocked.
enough already.

ok I apologize. I feel like much of this was brought on by my comments and I regret that.

As I said before, it was about a post supporting sisters in need being removed and others who came along to stir things up into something it wasn't. Same old sad tiring pathetic story. As I said, why should I not be allowed to post here and how dare you remove a post supporting CY and others with no rule violation? It has nothing to do with a "me" mentality. It's obvious what's going on and how there's really a "mob" mentality against a poster who isn't doing anything against the rules and trying to support a sister and find support where I can. Why you all didn't come on and say, why would Charlene's supportive post be removed by the community is beyond me, instead of roaring in here screaming and trying to twist things up. Nobody should have to put up with the constant harrassment I have been receiving on this thread. Didn't anyone read Amy's post? Really read it. Twice if you have to. It's not inflammatory or yelling at anyone. It's truthful. I know there will be no accountability for the kind of behavior that I've seen here today. One thing I agree with, enough already. Peace out.
Susan, please ... you have absolutely nothing to apologize for. You're right in everything you said earlier.
angel kisses and hugs, Charlene

Good evening Circle Ladies! Been off playing a little pogo. Learned a new game called pinochle. Its alot of fun. If anyone would like to try pogo, I would be happy to send you a 5 day pass to try it out.
Hugs to all our ladies in the center of the circle -- Slonedeb, Joanne, Ferne, Cy. May God grant you peace and comfort. And gentle hugs for their loved ones who are also grieving.
Angel -- gentle hugs to you. Its time to let go. Come to the warmth of the fire. Let us take your hand so you will know you, too, are loved.
Amy -- I see you visited and shared your wisdom with us. Nothing like a little down home common sense.
Susan -- I may try to come to the gathering in April. It will depend on the work and car situation. It sure sounds like fun.
Puppy -- enjoyed our talk today. Hugs to you gentle sister.
Laura -- thank you for sharing the pictures of your grandsons. Such hope and wonder in their eyes.
Iris -- wow...how long has it been since I've seen you? How are things going for you these days. I hope you are being blessed with good things.
I see that more logs have been put on the fire and it is starting to burn bright. The warmth will soon spread out. I hope someone remembered to bring the marshmallows. Anybody up for some Smores? Diet? We don't need to no stinkin diet!
Well, I'm off to find food. Hugs to all from A to Z.

I can't remember the last time I posted in the Circle. I used to post here every day, but I've turned into an occasional lurker because it isn't a place I want to be anymore. I was looking at the pictures that Vickie posted yesterday of CY and saw the picture of me with CY and her quilt. I remember embracing CY after I handed her the quilt, and I remember her promising me that she would see me again at the next Pinkstock. Unless a miracle happens, we all know that she's not going to be able to keep that promise. That's the stuff that matters -- not the arguments that crop up every week. I hate to see all the fighting on this thread. I hate that battle lines have been drawn. I hate that I don't know who to trust or who is playing some sick game. Most of all, I hate that my memories of Pinkstock and of my friendships here are slowly being destroyed.

Thank you for the Welcome from some of you. My friend, C.M., gave me a little background on the Circle and even when she had problems here she still loved it. I know there were some issues back last summer but all that is in the past. I'm needing some bc support and she told me this is the best place to go. That there'll be ups & downs but when someone is truly in need then most everyone is there for them. How could I ask for more than that? She spoke of the warmth and love that circled her when she was at her lowest point and that you would do that for me too. That you would do it for any bc survivor with open arms, hot chocolate and a warm fire. She laughed and said if that didn't do it then there was always the Hooch Tent. She is so funny. Call me greedy I want what she had. A Wagon Circle of friends that I promise to be there for and ones that will be there for me. Is that really so hard for you ladies to do? I know you all have good hearts there just seems to be so many cracks in the china, but they can be fixed and so can this place. I need it to be. You need it to be. At least some of you need it to be. That's the important part. Some of you may think I am way out of line here and if you do I'm sure I'll hear about it. lol May I suggest reading back through the good times in the Circle when everyone was friends and happy? It's good for your soul.
Hugs,
Jill

Gus, I remember the kind, generous way you gave CY the quilt.....how beautiful and meaningful it was for all of us to see such an unselfish act.....we were all touched by the love shown to a sister....
There is nothing that will take away the memories of the smiles, love and support shared at Pinkstock.....love is found in our heart....
There is nothing that can take away the support and love we extend to our sisters in need........CY, Mena, Slonedeb, Joanne, Amy, indeed, all our wonderful sisters........
CY has said it best "I WILL NOT GIVE UP!" She is gathering strength from her family and all of you.......
This is what the circle is about.......giving strength and support when needed and, in turn, having support and strength given to each of us when needed.
