When I awoke I saw the angel of sunshine. She whispered in my ear. So I began to walk once again to the middle of the circle, this time bringing some sunshine to everyone. I believe we all have angels watching over us today. When I got to the middle of the circle there were so many candles. Its so bright and warm. Yet there was something different happening. Many were busy running around. Finding other ways to help our sweet CY and her family. I saw slonedeb too and she has the biggest smile on her face.
Seems like when something happens we always can pick ourselves up. I dont know about you, but I always feel a need to cook. But I see others cleaning up, clearing the path for more sisters and brothers to come sit by the campfire. Some are just sitting in silence. Others are telling stories to each other and I think Im seeing some smiles today. Of course there are others still sleeping and gosh golly, someone drank my whole bottle of Jamesons and Bushmills. So some are still sleeping and will need some aspirin this morning.
Im sending lots of love to everyone. What a special group we are. It makes my heart smile and my soul fill with sunshine.
This morning. Take a look in the mirror. Looked deep inside you heart. This song is for you!

OK - for those of you with dial up. This song is "You Are So Beautiful - sung by Joe Cocker. Here are the words.
You are so beautiful
To me
You are so beautiful
To me
Can't you see
You're everything I hoped for
You're everything I need
You are so beautiful to me
You are so beautiful to me
You are so beautiful
To me
Can't you see
You're everything I hoped for
You're every, everything I need
You are so beautiful to meSusan: Yuo candle is beautiful. Its shining brightly this morning bringing lots of hope and love not only to CY and her family, but the many others who are suffering right now and all of your friends who have gathered here to support each other.
Peter: We are indeed a circle of angels. Helping each other get through difficult times and shining healing light towards both CY and Slonedeb.
Blue: Its always good to see you. I feel a sense of peace when you post and I also cant help but get excited over that cute lookin guy in your avatar.
Boo: Gosh its so good to see you. If I remember right, isnt the cat in CY's afghan from you? I enjoyed the hot chocolate, but put a little southern comfort in mine. Thinking thats probably why I slept so good last night. Or is it Madisons? Chemobrain once again.
Cheryl: I must agree. Its not so lonely anymore.
BMD: Looks like we have crossed many paths today. When I see your post, I smile.
Ferne: You know that you are so special to all of us. You are indeed in the middle of the circle. So many sending love and warmth your way. Hoping your can hear and feel out. The light of the candles and the campfire are beautiful.
Candie: Good to see you at the light of the fire. It is nice that we are all together - just holding hands and supporting each other.
I hope many wander down to the middle of the circle today. We need to be strong for all of our dear sisters.
Nicki (aka chemosabi)
To everyone in the wagon circle. You are really beautiful to me

Good morning Circle Ladies. Its a bright sunny day on this side of the pond.
Angel -- you beat me this morning. A beautiful angel picture for sure.
Margo -- good morning to you.
Candie -- are you all packed for your trip yet?
Well off to get the coffee started.
-
Community: Why would you remove my post thanking Jasmine for her song and posting a comfort angel image for CY and all sisters fighting the fight of their lives right now? Also my post this morning? This is neither the time nor place for games. FYI, I didn't report Peter's post in the Dreamers thread if that is what's behind this. Maybe it had something to do with the devil image he posted that offended somebody.
Do not dishonor CY this way.
-
Margo, Ames and Jas ... thanks ladies, here it is again since the community removed it for some reason.
-
Good morning Amy. I'm happy to see you on the weekends. How are all the cute little farm critters doing? I would love to see more pictures of the goats and donkeys sometime.
-
Char, I was just going to respond to Jaz and saw that the angel that was posted was removed. There was nothing offensive in that photo at all. Give me a break people - it was an angel and a lion and someone removed it? Please......
Jas, I'm making your potato soup today. It's raining in my end of the world so some potato soup will be good, along with all the other food I'm having today!
-
Margo -- that is a great idea. I have all the stuff needed to make the soup today too.
-
Jas, I never plan anything for football days - the party always seems to end up at my house - although now that Ryan is 21, he and his friends may go to a bar. My sis comes over though and hubby is there so I have plenty of food, no matter who is there.
-
Is today the super bowl???? What time does it start? I don't keep up with sports but I do like to watch the super bowl for the commercials.
-
It's at 3 Pacific Time. So enjoy the super bowl ads - Tom Brady is from the town I live in, but I like the idea of an underdog winning - so who do I want to win??????
-
LOL -- honestly, I don't even know who Tom Brady is or who's playing. I'm hopeless when it comes to sports knowledge.
-
Jas, if you're still around, what are the ingredients again for your potato soup? I think I have everything but want to be sure. By the way, I didn't appreciate football until my son started playing in high school.
-
I've deleted my post. I was asleep when all the stuff about the pictures was happening and I'm going back to bed.
-
Margo
4 cans of chicken broth
1 bag of frozen hash browns (32 oz)
1 pkg of Pioneer biscuit gravy (any brand should do if you can't find Pioneer)
1 small onion
Simmer the hashbrowns in the chicken broth with the onion (cut up) for approximately 30 minutes. Add the biscuit gravy to thicken it up and add flavor. You can also add ingredients to suit your taste. Sometimes I fry a few strips of bacon to crumble into the soup.
-
Just FYI: I didn't report Peter's post either. This was removed while I was asleep.
Can we also add Joanne to the circle? I asked yesterday and I'm asking again.
-
Bren: YOU'RE crying? Imagine how I feel. Don't bring up past pics? I'm referring to an angel comfort pic I posted last night for CY that was removed and how that fuels the fire I have no idea. If anything, your post is fueling the fire by saying those kinds of things. Maybe what you could say is, whoever keeps removing Charlene's posts please stop it. Now that would be supportive. And people didn't remove an angel pic of Peter's, they removed a devil pic of Peter's. Big difference.
-
Everyone that needs support is in the middle of the circle. Unfortunately, there are too many to name.
Jas, thanks for the recipe. I always do bacon (and cheese) with my potato soup so I'll think of you today when I make it. Oh, I love soups so if you have any other recipes, send them my way.
-
Have a good day!

Me Too Deb!
Love You Sis!

-
Margo, how true that there are too many to name, and how sad that is.
-
Charlene, I like your pictures.
I can understand why someone would remove a post that was a picture of the devil. I didn't see it.
We all have to tread very lightly since we all have the ability to "report" posts where we don't like the content. Sometimes I think people use that because they object to the "poster" instead of objecting to the content.
-
Susan,
The picture that Peter posted of the "devil" was a cartoon of a devil jumping in the air with the caption under it reading "I've been sprung from hell." He was referring to being able to post again on BCO!! It was a cartoon!! And was not evil and there was no reference to anyone on BCO. It was a joke about him being able to post again. That's all it was.
You wrote this and I think it is very true:
We all have to tread very lightly since we all have the ability to "report" posts where we don't like the content. Sometimes I think people use that because they object to the "poster" instead of objecting to the content.
-
So I guess Charlene's Angel picture was "reported" in retaliation, eh?
-
Bin, you know Peter and you can assume you know what he was referring to. Others who don't know him might have been offended. That's all I'm saying.
I guess Atheists could be offended by Angels.
I'm not trying to pick on you Peter. I'm tired of people picking on Charlene. Since Cheri's not around, Charlene seems to be public enemy #1.
