    Hi Lisa,

I've just recently read some similar ideas by a German researcher. I can't recall his name, but he basically said many of the same things. It's a pretty powerful thing to consider. Having just been through the whole standard protocol of surgery, chemo, and now radiation, I can honestly say that it's very hard to opt out, especially if you are only just learning about natural alternatives. You are so frightened by the diagnosis (as are all your friends and family) and feel you have to act so quickly, that you don't really feel like you have time to consider the alternatives. Our culture is clearly terrified of cancer.

At the same time, I just know somehow that cancer couldn't be a monster out to get me. These are my own body cells, not some foreign pathogen. I stopped calling it cancer long ago and started calling it "cells behaving badly" so that the word wouldn't have so much power over me.

Thanks for sharing the link. It gives much food for thought.
