I went from having my blood boiling very rapidly to a smile!  You figure that one out!

SIGN IN A BUSINESS STORE WINDOW

"WE WOULD RATHER  DO BUSINESS WITH 1000 AL QAEDA TERRORISTS THAN WITH ONE SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER!"

This sign was prominently displayed in the window of a business in Philadelphia. You are probably outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory statement.  However, we are a society which holds Freedom of Speech as perhaps our greatest liberty.  And after all, it is just a sign, right??  You may ask what kind of business would dare post such a sign?

    Answer:  A Funeral Home !

(Who said morticians had no sense of humor?)

How sad that we can smile at that :( , don't you think.  I'd rather we didn't have to even deal with terrorists of any sort, here or elsewhere.....

That was so good I had to pass it on...

I've seen my fair share of body bags and flag drapped caskets of our young boys, another generation gone

I am from the Philly burbs.  There is also a sign in one of the steak snadwich places that says, "You are in America.  Speak English or you don't get served."  Well, I paraphrased it but you get the gist of it.  There has been a lot of legal debate over it.  As far as the funeral home, I don't know if it is really tru but I am one with the sentiment.

Yes, wishiwere, it IS sad, but unfortunately, it is the state of the world today...   That a person or a group of people would plan such a  terrible attack on our country, and kill so many innocent people.... it is just too sad for words...

I most certainly agree with 'speak English'....we are just NOT allowed to come out and say this anymore over here, its the same in our schools, one school in this area is 90 % filled with kids who don't speak English as a first language. What chance for the 10% of English kids to get anywhere at all always being held back in their education, because the majority don't understand what they are being taught.

It was brought home to me a month ago. 3 Asian type men called here at our farm, asking if I had any fertiliser to sell them, I just didn't think 'til they were gone that fertiliser goes into bombs.

I called the police....wow...they were here in 10 mins, 8 of them, 3 vehicles, goodness knows why, but they went thru all the farm buildings with a fine tooth comb, all dressed in white suits, I thought it was a make of NCIS or something!! They took plaster casts of wheel marks, fingerprinted my nice new back door, took the flippin' door bell off and away !Everywhere was photographed, the police helicopter was up above doing I don't know what.... DH missed it all, he was out, he'd of had a fit if he'd walked in on that little lot. Worse thing of all was I hadn't time to get my boobs on, and had to talk to all these men as flat as a pancake.

But as they said to me every little thing is useful when it comes to rooting out these fanatics.

    Isabella.
