Soy in laundry detergent?

I recently bought some laundry detergent, Ecos, at Costco because it stated natural ingredients and I thought it was more environmently friendly than the ones I'd been using. I read the label more closely after buying and it states it has a "soy softener" in the ingredients.

Does anyone know if soy in our laundry detergent is a concern for us highly ER+ women? Should I stop using it???!!!???

I'm laughing out loud. I can't believe it. Soy in laundry detergent ... this takes the cake. We know that our skin is a great absorber, but it does get rinsed out? Maybe? I practice no soy so I would bring it back.

I saw on some skin care products also contain soy. Neutrogena After Sun skin care cream contains soy. I'm tossing it in the garbage now.

Yikes....I've been using it....running my clothes, towels and sheets through an extra rinse but I doubt my new front loader doesn't get it all out. I'm going to give it away. Too late to take back.

Darn, we need to start a healthy store for ER/PP+ women. The shopping would be so much eaiser...wouldn't have to read labels that I can't see cuz the letters are waaaayyyy to small.

Ladies I asked my Doc and he said that ECOS is completely safe! The soy is rinsed and its safer than using a product with formaldehyde
