    Hi, I just started Sutent about 4 weeks ago.  I'm taking it with Taxotere and Xeloda.  For me the Sutent has been much the same as Avastin, which I had last year and wasn't too bad.  The main thing I've noticed is nosebleeds.

    I'm curious whether you are getting it in a clinical trial or if you managed to get it covered?  I had to fight my insurance company like a dog to get it approved.

    Blackswan Im in a trial for the sutent.I have done 21 days and had to stop due to sore feet[cant walk] hopefully will start a lower dose next week...

    Dear All,

    I'm trying to get my insurance to pay for Sutent.  They have refused, stating that the FDA has not approved it for Breast Cancer. (Ooooh if I hear "not standard of care" one more time, I'm going to knock heads together!)  Anyway, we are having a hearing tomorrow, and I want to get as much info as I can to state my case.  So, please let me know how you did and if your insurance paid for it.
